But do you think that is what she was referencing? I'm trying to understand the context. So her entire family has been getting these death threats? I do not have Facebook and have no idea what is being said/done there. MOO

I have been following this case over on the different facebook groups (not recommended) and the amount of hatred on there for the SM is absolutely huge. Her family (possibly her) are in some of these groups so would have read everything and know how much she is hated. Would not surprise me at all if she had death threats, but to be honest with how she appeared on camera I would think that it's another sympathy ploy of hers to make it appear like she is in immediate danger from a "lynch mob" on the hunt for her with pitchforks or something. Which I doubt is the case. That's my interpretation.

Are the creeks frozen solid ? I’ve had a feeling about water ...
The creeks are not frozen solid, the area has had nice weather, over the past few days. There are a couple of large ponds, and a reservoir near the search area. The Fountain creek also runs by a large trail system, with several entrances that are accessible by car.

I’ll just say, if a loved one of mine were ever missing.....I would be completely oblivious to what was being said about me on Facebook.

Can someone explain what the difference would be between seeing camera footage on an iPad vs a TV? Is it the size? I have a tiny TV. If someone had a wide-screen TV there'd be better visuals? Someone mentioned audio, but my iPad has very good audio.

ETA: Also, I'm a little confused about how apparently multiple outlets have access to images/video, but nothing has leaked?
A bit of the tv can been seen on the right side of the screen, so I think size and the ability to advance/stop/etc.

It was tonight, NBC Nightly News? Around 530ish? I don't watch the news, because I loathe politics, but saw this briefly. I commented to my husband, about the SM. Before we even heard about the neighbor's video.

I don't want to be harsh on the parents, they are victims. That being said, a SM doesn't just randomly harm a child, there is a build up, and I believe that the Father was aware of the problem.
My son’s dad was aware of what his SM was doing/saying. In fact the abuse was done in front of my family & her very own family (her mom & SD) & my son’s grandparents. But never in front of me. So I agree I am sure that
This is awful,I am so sorry for your son and for you. How dare this woman do that to him,she stole his childhood and his future too. I hope one day it becomes possible for your baby to realise his worth and have the life she took from him.
Why would his father stay with her knowing what she had done to his son?.
I would like to know why did he allow this to happen in the first place, why didn’t he stop it before my son even went to the hospital. This ended up coming out that his dad knew what was happening while it was happening but did nothing, NOTHING!

If it comes out that AS knew before hand of what TS was doing to Gannon I just don’t think that I’ll be able to come back to WS. And honestly I don’t know or rather understand how/why the members here who have had children and/or loved ones that went through similar situations are able to read about similar cases without going through PTSD.
Regardless of all of that, I am hoping that nothing like this has happened to Gannon. And that he is safe, even if that means that he is now safe in Heaven.

@sindydee Thank you. Very well could be a ploy for sympathy. I think I am just reading into things...hoping to hear clues. MOO

Hello again, everyone! I haven’t posted lately, but this case is making me so sad. I have an 11 year old fifth grade daughter. I have been following along from the beginning as this has touched my heart. Praying for the best possible outcome at this point. Peace and closure for Gannon’s family and justice towards those involved.
Welcome back ..this is a sad one IMO

The guy with the cameras was on a Fox news clip yesterday afternoon. It is what his cameras DON'T show that is of interest. There is NO ONE leaving the house any time near (hour before and hours after) the time SM said Gannon left to visit a friend.
I thought he said he began to review the time period before the supposed visiting a friend. Anyway the timestamps are clearly at night. I don't believe the new evidence has anything to do with the time period, ie monday afternoon, when he was supposed to have left. We knew that a long time ago.

The call to LE...

This is how I see that happening.

TS calls her husband around supper time, tells him Gannon went to play with a friend but hasn't come home. Dad is in Oklahoma. Not much he can do but try to call around, since super helpful wife on site doesn't know which imaginary friend Gannon might've gone to play with. IMO Dad is not alarmed. He's maybe more irritated than anything. Gannon knows better than to stay out after dark. Keep in mind he's maybe only been imaginary-gone for 90 minutes. Dad calls around, talks to one neighbor who may suggest calling LE, not because they are thinking murder, abduction, but because Dad is out of the area. More manpower to look. I bet they're all thinking, once they find him, he'll be grounded.

The neighbor could then call the police FOR the dad. No alarm, just concern for an 11 year old who didn't come home on time.

At the point, EVERYBODY was dialed into TS's story, that he'd been missing for only, now, 2-3 hours and had last been with a friend, they just don't know which one. TS probably threw in the bonus distraction, that he might've run away.

I wonder at what point the dad got in his car and drove home.... might explain the delay in action between 7 and 10 pm... and a second 911 call, if in fact one was made. Dad knows his son. Somewhere between 7 and 10, IMO, fear set in, that sickening one where you just know something's going to be bad.

And then it turns out it's even worse than that.

I pray for Gannon's heartbroken parents....

JMO

I am trying so hard to find any silver lining in this awful story. The only positive that I can come up with right now is that thank goodness the weather is so frigid. Hopefully this will help preserve evidence that would normally dissipate quicker in the warmer months.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I saw another news (Denver 7) interview with the neighbor later that night and he mentioned that the sound was very good on his cameras. Maybe he could have picked up audio of something happening too. He was very specific about what it could pick up, car alarms, garage doors opening.
i saw that too. There was no particular reason for him to bring up sound, but he did.
Eta maybe his tv\audio could pick up sounds his ipad couldn't, if he didn't have the tablet on an amplified speaker.

I read elsewhere that it was drained,do you know if that's true?
I'm not sure on the draining of Fountain creek, there are several run offs connected to the creek, which should be dry as it is winter time. The creek is not very deep, especially in areas accessible by the trail. If something was in the creek, it would more than likely get stuck in the shallows and be discovered. The whole area surrounding Fountain creek, is pretty wide open, with some trees along the creek be . But the grass is high, and terrain is hilly making it difficult to spot something out of place.

Maybe she meant she had someone with her so that if she "discovered" Gannon she had backup to say they found him rather than her being accused of already knowing where he was(cos she put him there!),maybe her wgo again thinking she is smarter than everyone else?

Deputies collect evidence from missing boy’s home
This is the 2nd interview with the neighbor.

I've never believed that he was only missing on Monday. I think whatever happened went down on Sunday evening and that's why he was not at school.
