I am so sorry for your situation. And I agree, unstable people who are not mentally healthy don't know how to separate their animosity from one entity to another. Not unlike a person who has a bad day at work, and kicks a dog. Bad analogy, but you understand.

I really didn't even want to read anything about Gannon, because when I heard about him, I already knew the outcome.

The only thing that makes sense is that he was reported as a runaway by SM.

Because a kid going missing while walking to a friend’s house looks more like a potential kidnapping than anything.

It’s the only logical explanation for that immediate and firm characterization.

And we’re so jaded now after Harley Dill, who was treated as a runaway. I keep thinking this kid will be found close and not alive, unfortunately.

Unless it did happen Sunday night and they didn’t automatically look at footage from 18 hours BEFORE SM said she last saw him.

That,and it was originally watched on his tablet, not TV,and I think they were only looking at Mondays footage. My heart breaks for him too. So many people affected by this. And at least one person who doesn't give crap.

I think also this interview where stepmom has the daughter answer about the hike. SM says daughter didn’t go and some people think daughter is saying she did. I think the interviewer just worded his question weird.

IMO. Something absolutely happened in the house. By who? Whoever was in the house at the time - and that has not been released. I believe I know who though. I do not believe the SM's daughter did anything bad...but I do believe mom has major control over her and the daughter is weak.

I also do not believe the daughter is a USAF Academy student (that was mentioned a lot in thread #2). That is one of the hardest schools to get into - outside of other military schools, such as the Navel Academy. My husband is an AF vet of 16 years. And we are in Colorado. I know the AF life and career. I also doubt she is active duty. Maybe she joined, but has not left for bootcamp yet. You can join at 17 and depending on the job, may not be able to leave until 18. No way she is active. Even doubt reservist. She may have absolutely no attachment to the AF and is just one of those "maybe I will join" and mom is exaggerating.

Quite honestly, I do not believe a thing SM is saying.

She seems pretty confident. I am still on the fence on whether she is involved.

Chris Watts used the camera to appear that he was distraught and just wanted them home. He looked LE straight in the after he failed a poly and said he was not being deceptive. He then blamed his victim in increasing degrees for his marital woes and home life, when he was simply done being married, then said she killed his children.

An innocent person who cared about a child that went missing on her watch wouldn’t showboat in front of a camera and make this tragedy about her. She would show her face, plead for his return or info leading to it, shut her mouth about e-wives and family dynamics, and be helpful. She would not claim that she’s restrained from talking about the last time she saw the child. Her self-absorption and reference to Gannon as essentially a tool to bring about an apology for her is disturbing and I see no wiggle room for her. JMO

I'm sure they wouldn't show anything even close to relevant, when LE asked them not to and they agreed. They probably get a kick out of folks on the internet picking the shots apart trying to "find" something....I am reminded of the pictures of the clearing in the woods where little Caylee was found and us spending hours trying to make out a skull....surely we really KNEW they wouldn't show that....

I do think they have footage and the news station is withholding it and I believe the frames are from a relevant time IMO

Rewatched SM's interview. At 8:54, she says (in reference to the main goal of finding Gannon) Her aunt has been out searching, her whole family has been out searching, they all have been doing that together so they could protect each other.

Yes, probably just in case someone other than LE decides to pull a gun on her.

At least that's what I think she is saying.

In other words, she and her family are in fear for their lives and therefore are victims in this situation.
