I just can't get past this quote: “I took care of Gannon for the last two years in our home because his mother didn’t want to do it…OK, and I would never, ever hurt this child.”

There's an overwhelming amount of resentment in those words, spoken by the stepmom. I just can't get over it. Poor Gannon. He deserves better.

DA May being in Stauch home does not change the ongoing efforts in the search for Gannon. There are no new updates to report at this time. Our priority remains bringing Gannon home safely to his parents and the investigation continues. #findgannon #bringgannonhome

Just because I will forget. The home is owned by a Realty company and was a rental listing until 1/14 of last year. Gannon lives there, and it’s public info https://hotpads.com/6627-mandan-dr-colorado-springs-co-80925-1ua9qz5/pad

eta. You can see layout and entire home at the rental link. It is the Lowell floor plan at Lorson Ranch if you want to look that up as well

The murder didn't occur at the home though... unless he did in fact go back into the house after 2pm... though that surveillance video keeps trying to tell us otherwise.
I can't recall, but could Gannon have been in the bed of the truck when SM came home? Would the video have picked that up? IMO

So at this point they are not going to give us anything.

No, I don't think it would have. We couldn't see the gait on the truck from the neighbors cam. :( Why does this seem like when we know all it's going to be far worse than any of us imagined?

Why would they do that? We are not privy to anything …. JMO

Perhaps true in the case of a murder occurring there but perhaps untrue in the case of an assault or poisoning?

I'm not LE so maybe one of the verified attorneys could weigh in. I just know I'm seeing an increase in "different handling" on these high profile cases and I do think a lot of it is to thwart social media from knowing or going crazy.

Maybe TMI but I'd think forensics would want pieces of carpet (where there was apparently vomitus) and perhaps other stuff to be preserve without further DNA contamination. If it's a poisoning, for sure they'd want that (and they'd want fingerprints from every place in the house that chemicals and toxins could have been stored). Most inhabitants of a house would want to completely clean stains, etc (if vomiting was from a barely detectable poison, it might contain blood and that might help establish a few facts).

I think they may have something important.... what that could be? weapon, information leading them to another place to look? hoping it leads to an arrest

BBM-- Same here-- I fear the longer she is out there, the more chance of her taking the "Cowards' way out or fleeing.
I hope they are keeping steady eyes on her 24/7

Couldn't he have just been on his side on the back seat? Perhaps she/they moved him back inside later? But why? What would be the point of that?

Detectives, likely giving DA May a walkthrough of what appears to be a crime scene.

Probably pointing out areas of interest, and what they believe happened there.
