Loving stepmom here...this case just makes me so sad. Like the Kyron case, when it's a stepmom who is a possible suspect, it always hurts my heart. (So too do cases where it's a mom who is a suspect.) I love my stepson, I would lay my life for him as quickly as for the child I birthed. I'm not his mom, he has a perfectly good one and I could never replace her, but he is an important part of my world and I just can't imagine doing harm to him. In some ways I've even been more protective of him than the one I birthed because he'd gone through his parents splitting up, and I know what that feels like.

Praying for this sweet boy, and holding out hope that he is returned safe.

I wish RD camera would have had the truck more centered, if she had kept it in the street, it was harder to see him getting in, and i wonder if she had just woken him up? That could explain him being slower? altho i did see some clip last night where you could see his blue jacket. Some links are better than others.
Irrespective that she didn’t bring him back, I’m sure it was hard for BD to see his boy, he wanted to press pause and yank him out of the frame into safety. This is beyond horrible.

I agree. Not all step parents should get a negative rating. JMO

New to this site and commenting, but I’m praying for a safe return for Gannon!!! This case feels very close to home. I have a small son that shares Gannon’s name, and cannot fathom what his poor family is going through right now. :(

“Moments after investigators and the mobile crime lab came to the home, many members of the Stauch Family got into cars and left. Gannon’s father looked to be one of them”

Can you link which video since there are multiple links. Is it the long 6 min version?
If you hit the blue text (the time sillybilly listed) it brings you to the video referenced to ;-)
Edited by me, to instead of too

Trying to catch up so sorry if this has already been discussed ..

At about 6:38 through 6:42 in the video, it appears to me there is a person moving outside at the right front corner of the truck's windshield (between the t and the y of the word xfinity) and then SM is seen exiting on the driver's side.

I think that is her door opening and it just looks like it's on the other side of the truck, IMO of course.

Oh no CSI is back again, and the family had to leave this time. I really really hope they are just trying to get as much evidence as possible before they make an arrest.

Can anyone tell what SM had in her hand when she got out of the truck after returning home?
I'm thinking it was the hat she was wearing when they first got into truck.
