To view something prior to deciding to issue an arrest warrant?

I'm so confused that the family is still living there through all of this though!

On the one in a billion chance Gannon shows up at the front door? I just sense wanting to be there.

Guys... I'm still trying to deal with emotions from the Thomas Valva case and here we are again. I'm not ready for whatever it is we are going to be finding out soon. I just don't see a positive outcome for poor Gannon.

If they were only there to update Family they wouldn't need crime lab folk.

The Stauch family have left in their cars.

Moments after investigators and the mobile crime lab came to the home, many members of the Stauch Family got into cars and left. Gannon’s father looked to be one of them

I think LE wants to make an arrest and is presenting their case to May.
I wonder if because it is such a high profile case that is why he is going to the house. They don't usually do that, do they?

I think it's evidence related

It's possible the family WANTS to be there, in case Gannon comes home. We get caught up in the crime, the sleuthing, the charges, etc. They are a family in the grips of unfathomable grief, often at the mercy of LE, something which calls for unnatural patience and unnatural surrender of control over their lives, their emotions, even who they can and cannot talk to.... they may find comfort in being near Gannon's things, while they hold it together as best they can.

Today is going to be a very hard day, I fear. Good for prosecution, hard in every other way. Gut socking hard.

It could also be a matter of cost. Staying in a hotel for an indefinite amount of time is costly.
But I do wonder why they are allowing family to occupy the house through multiple searches. I would think they would have Atleast asked the family to leave for the 3 day’s they had done evidence collection.

Hypothetically.... there could also be a lot of activity somewhere away from the home right now. Let's hope.
I may have hypothetically seen something about many cop cars at a location. Oh no. Oh this is hurting my heart. But better he is found so he can rest in peace

Do they need the DA's authorization to, say, rip up an entire floor?

So does this mean the initial crime to Gannon, though not immediately life-ending, happened at the house? We see him walk out of the house and he doesn't come back! At that point in time he could walk! Was this a crime that didn't render him immobile until after that surveillance vid???

What might you have hypothetically seen?

No. They don't need authorization from the DA to do that.
They do for an arrest.

It must be something for the DA to be there. I know they often show up but I don't remember that they had on prior searches. Anyone?
I got a hold of a friend of mine and he said, "...yes, the DA/prosecutors frequently come out to the scene of a case they are prosecuting, although this is typically done after the initial investigation during preparation for trial."
