ENDANGERED: 11-year-old Colorado boy has been missing for more than 1 week; family releases statement

Monday, exactly one week after Gannon's disappearance, a neighbor came forward with home surveillance video that may be the last image captured of the young boy.

On Wednesday, 11 News was there when 4th Judicial District Attorney Dan May was in the home.

"DA May being in Stauch home does not change the ongoing efforts in the search for Gannon," The sheriff's office wrote on Twitter. "There are no new updates to report at this time. Our priority remains bringing Gannon home safely to his parents and the investigation continues."

A new development in the case?

11 News is honoring the El Paso County Sheriff's Office's request not to show the video or discuss details about the video that cannot be confirmed by the sheriff's office.

"This video may be a big part of the investigation," said Sgt. Deborah Mynatt with the sheriff's office. "... We hope it will not jeopardize the investigation, but the reason we asked [media[ not to [air the video] was because there is potential for that."

The surveillance shows a driver and passenger getting into a truck the day Gannon went missing. The truck leaves and returns a few hours later, around 2:30 p.m. Only one person gets out.

It's unknown if there are any other clips of the truck captured on surveillance that same day. Mynatt encouraged neighbors to go through their own videos.

Tomorrow could be big though, as it appears law enforcement is on the verge of something.

But will it be tomorrow, cos if it's anything like the qty of gear they removed yesterday forensics will be swamped and there could be lengthy waits.

Allegedly, the infamous hike at Garden of the Gods occurred on Sunday.

Seeing is believing.

I'd love to know if RD's surveillance feed showed them all heading out to and from the hike that day.

I know GS is seen on video getting into the truck with SM on Monday, but that alleged Sunday hike remains of keen interest to me. Particularly how GS looked upon his return from that alleged hike.

I hate to speculate, but it has been confirmed that CSI, the DA, etc. were there. They had equipment. To me, that says that there is some type of search warrant for something.

I'm catching up! I just read and posted that there was surveillance video discovered in the last 36 hours that in my opinion has legally moved this investigation from an alleged runaway to possible foul play.

Seeing DA Dan May in the background today, I've no doubt that investigators are about to announce the missing child case is now a criminal investigation and they have evidence to believe foul play involved in GS disappearance. MOO

I really hate that this feels like Kyron Horman.

ETA: It's 5:05 pm MST and I don't believe there will be a presser or any public break in the case today. I believe investigators-- under the guidance of the Dan May are getting their ducks in a row.
