Perfect segue! Speaking of hot messes….

***I'm going to repost these quotes every day until GS is found:

VIDEO: Stepmom of missing Colorado boy speaks out

"….I'm going to be so ecstatic when I am able to say to people that I hope they have a really sincere apology for all of these theories that have came <sic> out online, for ALL of the things that they say that I have done, or people have done, and I just want everyone to know that we are going to find Gannon, and I love him so much, and I have been taking care of him for so long."

Reporter: "Any message for Gannon?"

Her: "The message for Gannon is, Gannon, when you get here, you'll be able to truly tell what happened, and then, I REALLLY hope I get a sincere apology from EVERYone who has made <sic> ALLLL those things…."
_____________

Not happening, TS.

Not. Happening.

Smells a little fishy and it doesn't pass the "smell test".

Wow I completely overlooked this - when I’m looking for someone and they don’t answer I call and call then text and call - wonder if that happened as darkness fell before the 911 call? Of course if she “found” his cell phone that would negate her calling for him over and over / what a plan JMO

More videos I hope, of what direction the truck was going.

I wonder how many doors she knocked on in the neighborhood after he did not return? Did any cameras/rings catch her out looking for Gannon? How many friends did she call? Even if you don't know his friends seems like you would be out knocking on every door in the neighborhood and surely his little sister knew the kids he played with?
^^^^^
This!

I would also be curious about any areas that she avoided searching in.

If I were LE, I would be asking the people she searched with where they searched and then I would go in the opposite directions of those searches to have a verrry good look.

....but maybe they would be too busy 'protecting each other' to tell the truth?

We can't post and say it can't be referenced here.
Someone is very close to this investigation or giving that impression.
Needs to be left alone, afaik.
Sorry what do you mean?

Did you guys catch LS on her interview saying she wants an apology? Especially from her husband!!! That says a lot right there. He must know way more about what has happened. Also for a teacher she has lots of trouble putting sentences together that make sense... I have no idea what point she was trying to make at the end about people talking about her and her reputation and somehow this looks bad for a missing child. I played it like 3 times and still didn't get the connection.
Yes, we did. Gordian Knot keeps reminding us.

Hi, always lurking but finally posting as I can't stop thinking about Gannon. My sister lives in the springs so this caught my eye and I've been here ever since.

My question is have they stated that they have no footage of Gannon leaving the home to walk to the friend's house? Surely that neighbor's camera would have picked that up but I don't recall any confirmation that there is no other video of him after 10am when he is seen getting into truck.

Gannon where are you??
Welcome to WS! From the beginning they could not find any evidence that he left when LS said he did - then the neighbor came forward with his video showing they left together around 10:14am Monday and returned at 2 in the red truck but LS was alone
It’s in the media thread for GS

I feel like the more we hear about things in the investigation, the less there is to go on.

What if LS is telling the truth at least that she didn't do anything directly to harm him? The only thing I can come up with then is negligence on one particular day when no one else was around to see it. No pattern of abuse or poor treatment. Just a one-time thing that got out of hand and she panicked. And she's defensive enough about everything that she can't admit to it.

Without hearing of more neighbor footage, we can safely assume that her leaving with him and coming back alone is the last time he was in that house. Never returned, didn't go to a friend's house without her knowing. The neighbor would have seen it on his camera, right? So we at least know she is lying about that one thing??

This is all I can think about lately. I have an 11-year-old daughter and they are just still SO young. Relatively helpless out there in the world alone due to their size and youthfulness, and he seemed smaller (because he was born premature I guess).

IMO LS didn't directly say she didn't harm Gannon. I went back and watched the interview again and all she said was "I would never, never ever harm that boy" and later she said "My main thing is that I would never want someone to think that I would hurt Gannon or any of the children in our home, 'cuz that's just not the case."

IMO neither is the same as saying "I didn't harm Gannon" or "I didn't hurt Gannon."

It's pretty easy for an innocent person to voice their innocence by using clear, concise words. LS used a whole lot of words to essentially say nothing. MOO.

And, exposing other children to that type of behavior is abusive to them. I wonder about the other child in the house, the daughter of LS. No doubt CPS is investigating this situation.

Probably in discussion with her father, she is still a child, under age 18, so if police want to talk to her, LS, her mother could stop that. But, her father could allow it, if they have joint legal custody.
Her father is deceased.

Yes, initially when video was examined, LE stated that they were unable to locate Gannon on any of the video that had been examined. All those MSM links were back from the 2nd or 3rd day I think. I can only assume local homeowners and LE were looking at video from the 3:0opm time frame forward. Thankfully at least one neighbor thought to check for earlier in the day.

Every time I see you post you remind me of a friend I had a while back! She set me up with my husband. Your profile pic is 100% her. Sorry, just letting you know

Awww. Well thank you Zha, my fellow Coloradoan!

I have a feeling she didn't bring her phone. Might have felt couldn't be tracked without phone. MOO
That brings up two things that two different poster said that I thought was interesting.
1. Someone said that when she was pulling forward and then stopping and then trying to back up the way that she was stopping abruptly could mean that she was reading her phone got a text so stopped abruptly, or something to that point. I thought that was interesting.
2. Another poster brought up that that truck might be stick, and that she might have had trouble pulling it forward and backing it up and then stalling it out so having to do it again.

So she was a stalling out I would venture to Guess that she quickly stopped because she got a text wanted to read it, that means she had the phone with her, or at least she was smart enough to get a burner oh, and leave hers at home.

The videos don’t prove he wasn’t home around 3. How do we know for sure the husband cried and said what was claimed? If he did respond that way, how do we know why or if it was authentic? If it did happen and it was authentic, it doesn’t mean he thought she took the child somewhere and didn’t bring him back.
A news article stated that the Bio dad said she had lied about what time he left the house. True there may be additional videos we have not seen but they have stated that Gannon is not seen returning to the home.

WELCOME. No sighting of him on any cameras other then Monday with his stepmom leaving around 10am ( ish). With no sight of him returning. According to MSM.

When I heard LS interview, my first thought was that there is no way she kept the bitterness she felt about having “that boy” for two years to herself. She had to have complained to his dad about him. I wonder if he has said anything to LE about how she treated Gannon. Do we know why mom gave them up two years ago?
Mom never gave them up. She spoke or texted with Gannon every day.

Mom was in the service and was deployed at some point, and was hospitalised upon her return.
So she could not have full custody at that time.

But they did have joint custody and she was fully engaged in their lives.
