I’m hopeful that the red truck’s OBD system had the added GPS tracker. I don’t think it is standard and don’t know enough about cars to know if, without it, any other diagnostic system would be helpful, e.g., speed on the day in question, distance traveled, etc. I do know that the last time my SUV went to the dealer for maintenance, they seemed to be able to pull a lot of info to help diagnose the issue.

Good call. I was trying to think along those lines of figuring out mileage. All i could come up with is the odometer (and obviously no one would know what it read at 10:15am on that monday).

Your ideas are interesting, though. I have no idea if vehicles record that kind of stuff. Hopefully someone else knows.

Could be. She’d have to do it on Monday evening.

She could claim that she went out looking for Gannon, and dump evidence somewhere during that time.

That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Either that, or LE's searching a bunch of different locations based on her electronic/digital trail during the critical hours in their timeline.

JMO.

But at what time did LE get to her home with the reports of a missing child? After dark IIR, because that's "how we did it when we were kids" (referring to when the streetlights came on)
10:06 pm, if I recall.

People in bright clothes with matching insignia walking the fields across from @EPCSheriff mobile command post w/ dogs. This is about 5 min. from Gannon Stauch’s family home in CO Springs. We’re waiting for an update from @EPCSheriff #9News

I fully expect them to be utilized. And didn't I read that Equasearch uses them? Or not. Far too many of these crimes are happening these days. Makes me sad.:(

I wish I could remember the name of a very good newer drone search organization. Could be out of Utah. They have had great results.

The call was at 6:55pm but LE arrived later - I will go check the media thread.

ETA:
A little after 10 p.m. on Tuesday the El Paso County Sheriff's Office showed up at Gannon's home. Law enforcement walked up to the home and appeared to be searching in the backyard with flashlights. The garage door was opened and a car was pulled out. We are waiting for an update from the sheriff's office on why law enforcement was there.
Search continues for missing 11-year-old boy

He’s got to be within a 40 mile radius is my guess.
I just looked at a massive database of child violent crimes and out of 27 where the remains were located, the average distance seems to be 40 miles. It seems the closer the person is with the child, the closer the body is found. Since this is a step parent, I’m willing to bet he’s not too far from home.

Does Colorado have any toll roads? We do here in NY so I assume everyone does lol but I know that’s not the case.

Haven't been posting much today (I have another case I am following) but, I know this has probably already been asked but was the interview with TS before the neighbor handed over the footage from his security camera? This case is on my mind 24/7 and I woke up last night wondering this. Sorry I have been trying to comb through the posts but there are way too many.
Yes, it was.

Fortunately, I don’t think there’s a chance in hell she gets away with this.

Life is going to be terrible for her after this, but it’s going to be spent behind bars.

The kids are going to have a story to tell, and there’s video, and likely cell phone records as well.

Law enforcement is also examining that house as if it’s a crime scene. The amount of time they have spent there, is both telling and ominous.

She made mistakes, and those mistakes will bury her.
Unfortunately, I thought the same thing with Casey Anthony...

Interview with TS was on Friday 1/31 and I believe the news with neighbor interview broke on Monday 2/3 became he said he found on Sunday 2/2 Super Bowl Sunday morning and took to the Dad AS.

Well, her call was reported to be at 6:55. I’m assuming it’s dark by then.

I don’t know if this has been discussed previously (I’ve been speed reading through all the threads and may have missed it) but has it been reported how many items TS put into the truck before leaving and how many items she removed from the truck upon return? Did she take anything in which a small person could fit? Knowing that might be helpful to search groups, e.g., looking for a long bag or suitcase, etc.

Hoping against hope that this sweet boy is found ok but, if it’s the worst outcome, hoping for resolution for his family. Have seen so many comments from family members of missing persons who, decades later, are still distraught from not knowing. My heart breaks for them all.

surely police have looked over the rest of the neighbor's footage to see if she left again. I'm so curious to know when the "can my parents track me" search was done. After they were seen leaving the house?

MOO What I saw was behavioral. She jumps out of tbe truck forward land on both feet. Its a athletic way to get outan soeaks to recently doing physical work.

Nice observation and I tend to agree. Its only circumstantial but I agree it is a more athletic way to get out of the truck rather than a slower method of easing oneself out of a truck. Which implies she may have just finished up with something physical and so she had the energy or excitement to just jump on out.

I thought at the PC they said about an hour later but that may be when they said they started the investigation. They first entered his name into a data base as a runaway and then began to investigate. They went to the house and interviewed TS. They apparently looked around the property and didn't find anything.

Imo
