He’s got to be within a 40 mile radius is my guess.
I just looked at a massive database of child violent crimes and out of 27 where the remains were located, the average distance seems to be 40 miles. It seems the closer the person is with the child, the closer the body is found. Since this is a step parent, I’m willing to bet he’s not too far from home.

Does Colorado have any toll roads? We do here in NY so I assume everyone does lol but I know that’s not the case.
Just one that goes around the east side of Denver.

Are there roads/ hiking trails that routinely get closed for the winter?

surely police have looked over the rest of the neighbor's footage to see if she left again. I'm so curious to know when the "can my parents track me" search was done. After they were seen leaving the house?
That phone would have been downloaded, and law enforcement almost certainly knows the answer to that question.

That would be a very important piece of evidence, and could potentially be very incriminating.

Maybe. I'm still confused about the cars and which vehicle she normally drove.

LE apparently took the daughter's car, but do we even have confirmation that they took the truck?

Did the truck belong to her husband and was it usual for her to drive it?

And what about the white car the family left in yesterday? Is that the mom's car or does it belong to AS and TS?
Exactly. If LS had never or rarely drive the truck, IMO AS seeing that on the ring video showing LS driving truck would be very upsetting. In 4 yeas that my husband and i have had our big truck i have never driven it, so if m husband saw me on a video driving our truck he would know something wasnt right. JMOO

Wild Speculative Scenario:

If we combine what we know and with what’s been rumor in what way would GS be disposed of that will look like it was an accident caused while he was a “runaway”, if someone were to plan this far... for if he is found.

Hit by a car? If someone is walking down the road and is hit by a car as a “hit and run” the person hit wouldn’t wander far. They’d might even be in a ditch on the side of a remote road.

There appears to be some planning involved:

Family outing; take pics to appear as a happy and close-knit family
(Perhaps replace any damaged areas in house)
illness - call in to Dr for a script to corroborate missing school on Monday
Search phone - to corroborate runaway story
(Perhaps tell someone you have to go somewhere to corroborate why you’re not home with GS on Monday but take him with you.)
Back truck as close to the garage door as possible so own camera can’t pick up everything,

if one were to plan this far for a runaway scenario what would be the likely plan from here? If GS were later found how would you corroborate this with him being a runaway? Do runaways attempt to hitchhike along long stretches of road? If hit by a car as in a “hit and run” where would they go if injured, or if gravely injured would they end up in a ditch? Runways hide in sheds, barns, old cars, abandoned houses. Would someone bury a “runaway” because then they couldn’t say he was a runaway and died by accident while on his own. It’s cold out, GS most likely wouldn’t get into a body of water on his own while a “runaway” so would that be a good place to put him?
A runaway could die if food and water are withheld or after vomiting a lot and certainly could perish from the elements,

Could he have been put in a place you’d think a runaway would go ... just in case he’s found, so it would jive with the “runaway” story?

- skip neighbors video in this thought process because at the time GS is a “runaway” this was an unknown variable.

I would ask people in a 2-3 mile radius to search their properties both private homes and businesses.

She was gone a long time. What was she doing that whole time?
Maybe trying to work on an alibi? Going to a store, getting a receipt to prove she went somewhere (thinking that would be enough).

Maybe she disappeared GS close to home first. Then went about doing errands/working out etc for the next few hours and went home. Maybe she was thinking that her cell phone pings won’t seem far out of place by doing it this way in this order? Doing errands etc for hours would give her an alibi rather than staying at home all day.

These types of people 'story' themselves in what they say and type. The google search on his phone, which I think we all believe she did, not only helps her runaway story, but it answers the question of what she needed to do with her own phone.

Unfortunately, I thought the same thing with Casey Anthony...

As long as they don’t sequester the jury for seven weeks under punitive conditions so that there is no way in hell the jury will find her guilty of anything that will require a sentencing phase, (as happened in the Anthony case), I think we will be all right.

I always think it’s odd she gave that time span. The daughter would of been coming in from school during that hour I believe. I would think LS would be able to say it was either before or after the daughter came in. Usually buses arrive about the same time daily and a parent would know if it were a few minutes late...I’d think she’d be more aware of the time. I think she be able to say “it was a few minutes after so and so got home” or something like that..

IMO one possible reason she gave that time frame is because his friends would be home from school then and her claim was that he went to a friend's house.

@Hakunamatata is this location at Ft. Carson? Hard for me to tell if it is, or troops from there are searching. I am geographically challenged in this case.

It’s not on ft Carson. Just a few miles from gate 20.

Exactly my point, living here & familiar with the area, it seemed highly unlikely he would have run away as was initially reported. IMO
Where does his BM live normally?
