Makes you wonder what her normal routine was on days where husband was out of state and ALL kids were @ school?
Al’s wife, Gannon’s stepmom, is Letecia “Tecia” Stauch. She has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. According to her Facebook page, where she uses the name Tee Stauch, Gannon’s stepmother is a curriculum developer at School District 49 in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado. She previously worked as an education specialist and teacher and at-risk youth coordinator in South Carolina. She completed her doctorate at Liberty University in 2019 in education. She and Gannon’s father have been married since January 2015.

Sounds like they really have no idea where he is.
If her cell phone was off during that 4 hour timeframe - then yes, unless they have the truck on video or it has GPS or there aren't some searches she did previously on how to hide a body around town... then yes, they won't have a clue where to look. But they do have history of other searches and I think they will be using that to target these areas- I just don't think this is random ...

Are there roads/ hiking trails that routinely get closed for the winter?
Not really. Some mountain passes here and there but those you're only getting to with snow vehicles (snowmobile, cat, etc.). A lot of hiking trails will "close" to maintain the trail when there's mud and water

Here we go. Interested to see what this is about.

I always think it’s odd she gave that time span. The daughter would of been coming in from school during that hour I believe. I would think LS would be able to say it was either before or after the daughter came in. Usually buses arrive about the same time daily and a parent would know if it were a few minutes late...I’d think she’d be more aware of the time. I think she be able to say “it was a few minutes after so and so got home” or something like that..

Right but if he was leaving for a friend's house before any children are home from school - that would/should immediately raise a red flag and LE would ask why she would have allowed him to go, if it was before school let out. She also had to account for why his sister didn't see him when she got home. I don't think she had much choice in when she claimed he left that wouldn't raise suspicions.

IMO one possible reason she gave that time frame is because his friends would be home from school then and her claim was that he went to a friend's house.
I just feel like it’s something that points to it being made up. I feel like if it were true (obviously it’s not) she would be able to pinpoint the time more, especially during that 3-4 hour since a parent would be aware of the time a young child they are waiting for arrives home everyday.... sometimes down to the minute.

Maybe she disappeared GS close to home first. Then went about doing errands/working out etc for the next few hours and went home. Maybe she was thinking that her cell phone pings won’t seem far out of place by doing it this way in this order? Doing errands etc for hours would give her an alibi rather than staying at home all day.
MOO
I was thinking the same thing! She was going to use the "he ran away" excuse so when he was found close to home that would seem like he got caught in the cold and couldn't make it home maybe? JMO. I don't know....this case really has my momma heart hurting.

Exactly my point, living here & familiar with the area, it seemed highly unlikely he would have run away as was initially reported. IMO
Where does his BM live normally?
IMO one possible reason she gave that time frame is because his friends would be home from school then and her claim was that he went to a friend's house.
definitely a lot of thought went into this.

Maybe she had an extra car stashed somewhere, left the boy's body at the "extra" car, returned to the house at 2:30, and later Monday night went out to hide him.[/QUO
Ah! I spy school buses.

Interesting.

Familiarity with that area, perhaps?

JMO.
I don’t recall seeing school buses in the area directly across from the mobile command center, I could be wrong. Restoration church was the location of MCC earlier, the buses could be off of Bradley Rd between Marksheffel & Powers. I’m so curious I could just drive by....
