The truck video has a clear view under the truck. Anyone's feet and legs getting out would be seen.

I dont know. I'm not sure that they know either. They might not know what they are looking for, but they are hoping that they find "something".

This could maybe explain why they have spent SO much time over there.

The middle of nowhere is deceptive. People are usually there, somewhere on a ride, tending something, fishing /hunting etc. They usually can't be spotted without having an idea where to look.
If the news gets to them hopefully it jogged their memory and they called police a tip about a truck they saw while out on the land. Its not like you forget the details so fast.
So here is hoping someone was out there.

I narrowed it down to #1 or #8. I took a risk and went for #8. Something about #8 that put me over . It will drive me crazy until I find the correct map.
How about #1 dam and #8 dam? Either reservoir or dam near N. Powers Blvd?

خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏ I went to google maps and found a considerable number of intersections heading north from GS's home with these cameras on the light stands. If they are cameras, it would take some time to go back and look for a red pick up truck in the questioned time frame. LE may be tracking her movements slowly but surely by these traffic cameras.
The other interesting bit of information I gleaned from this is that there really isn't any amount of roadside businesses that would have cameras, I was amazed at how sparsely built up the area is.
She could easily think that she could go anywhere without being seen.

That side of town has just started getting built up in recent years. There's a lack of water in the area. We've lived here for five years but been coming to visit for the last 25, almost 30 years. It's been crazy watching the area grow. There's just no space left near the mountains so everything is shifting out east.

I wonder if she did pass him off to someone who agreed to hold him, drugged or isolated for a couple of days and then turn him loose and she could be a heroine and pick him and bring him home.
Maybe she didn't expect the way his disappearance became such big news so fast. And now, being watched by LE so carefully she cannot finish out that plan.

Reading the transcript, what stuck out to me today is her phrase “I’m just ready for Gannon to come home”. IF she passed him off to someone, this interview would be a great signal for them to release Gannon so to speak since she is telling them she’s ready for him to reappear.

I hate to say it, but I have to agree with fact that some of the comments on social media are downright horrifying in their level of hate, and the kinds of things people say they hope will happen to who they think is guilty of a crime. Hubby and I have actually had that conversation when someone hurts/kills someone else, and the SM keyboard warriors line up to express (often in great detail) how they think the accused should violently die. One of the most common, most heinous, is being SA'd to death, for either men or women. The question has been asked... "if you can hope it/wish it/say it publicly... how are you any different than the scum who actually committed the crime?". Of course it's a (sort of) rhetorical question but the truth is, there are some downright vile comments out there on social media, every single day.

I abhor violence of any kind, especially the type you specifically call out. But I can't say I've never occasionally thought about how satisfying it would be if a defendant received some sort of retaliatory harm. It's rare, but some things which a victim has suffered are simply unbearable for me to process. Did I contradict myself in what I wrote? Conflicted emotions ...

I could never wish anyone death.

The one and only positive that came out of all those comments is TS reading them and doing that interview.

The false narratives, conspiracy theories, rumor mongering, harassment and death threats addressed to her...

She needed to set EVERYONE straight, tell the truth, as to what really happened. Explain herself, but it all backfired. Everyone was able to see her true colors.

Totally agree. Using a public tradgedy to channel that kind imagery is simply self centered.

I fear the repeated searches of the home are for lack of any real info as where else to search. They know Gannon left the house, per the video, but do not see him return. I do not think the house will tell them where to search...or give them evidence of a crime. Electronics, maybe but I can’t think what else they can do. If only Colorado Springs and area were saturated with license cameras, there might be more hope...jmo. Not feeling optimistic...people who harm children, if that is the case, seldom confess.

Idle Musing - A "Closed to the public" Park would be an excellent place to dispose of a body until the park was reopened in the late Spring/early Summer. Animals could get to the body also for quite a while.......moo

Well, I had to sit on my hands for a bit, I didn't want to get put on a timeout!

I'm really hoping tomorrow there will be a more detailed update on the case from LEA. I know they do not owe the public any information and I know they don't want to tip their hand, but I REALLY wish they would announce, at they very least, a certain person as the POI. Or make an arrest. I feel that besides that certain persons ramblings, SM is in an uproar, it's going on 2 weeks and not finding Gannon. Being 2 weeks and no suspects named. 2 weeks and he hasn't been brought home. I know were not to bring FB over here, that's why I had to take a break. I am thankful for finding WS and having the rules that are in place, or here would look exactly like the dumpster fire that are groups over there. As angry as I am at the moment, I could never imagine typing out the things I have seen said over there. That doesn't make them any better than the person they are talking about.
I'm usually a person that has a hold of my emotion, but man GS has found his way into my heart. I don't know if it's because I had a step-mother just like the one we have seen from TS. And I KNOW what that kind of treatment and that kind of behaviors can cause in emotional scars and the effects it can have on a young child. Maybe it's because at one point when I lived in the Springs, I lived less than a mile from where the Stauch family does. Maybe it's everything combined. I never thought my heart could hurt for somebody I didn't personally know. I really hope tomorrow he is found. If it's not alive then at least so he can be brought home to the parents that actually love him and he can be at peace and his parents can start healing.

I know what you mean. I think today with LS posting on SM with her narcissistic posts it has pushed people over the edge. Probably her intention. Almost like putting gasoline onto the fire. I think that combined with hardly any news from LE (not that they have to and they are obviously working very hard behind the scenes) and there being no suspects or POI a lot of people think there is nothing being done and getting really really frustrated.
