New to Websleuths and joined so I could follow this case. I don’t have anything meaningful to contribute just yet - just hoping Gannon is found, one way or another, and his family gets some answers. I’m from the Southern Colorado area and this is breaking my heart. :(

Will come back and contribute some more of my thoughts when I have more time. Just wanted to introduce myself and get to watching the thread.

WELCOME to Websleuths!!! :)

Here's my issue with the runaway story - I think in most cases (certainly my own at that age) when a child considers running away at such a tender age, it's usually with the mindset of "I'll show them" or "I guess I'll run away so I won't be a burden". IMO the child is generally upset by some punishment in the home and the idea to run away is born out of revenge and/or feeling guilty. In both cases the child would be seeking acceptance and love, so the plan wouldn't necessarily be to run away forever and never be found.

I would be far more apt to believe the runaway story if Gannon hadn't allegedly made the google search and left his phone behind. JMO

Since LS decided to concoct a runaway story IMO, it would have been a lot more believable to say that Gannon missed his mom (LH) and was running away to try to get to her in the east. Think of all the terrible fates that could hypothetically befall an 11-year-old boy between Colorado Springs and the east coast that would have let LS off the hook for what ultimately happened to him.
But she couldn't bring herself to say that, because she's so attached to her narrative that she's the best of the three parents in this situation and that Gannon's mother didn't want to care for him.

--Drone search videos are posted upthread in summary; there are also people searching the areas who can be seen on the ground
--Good point earlier that TS may have stayed in the Lorson Ranch area because it is familiar territory. From the drone videos, and the pics posted today, we can see that the undeveloped areas are very large and desolate, with lots of ATV tracks, dirt roads, gullies, trees, etc. There are however many lots under development somewhat near the family home, and that means those big piles of dirt.
--I had asked many pages ago if the ground was frozen in the area. Here's a sad theory: GS was a small child and if TS put him in the duffel bag that she appears to be carrying, she may have just driven to an undeveloped part of the subdivision and buried him in a shallow hole in one of those dirt piles (did they use cadaver dogs in the new areas of Lorson Ranch?). If someone drove by, she could easily have said she was burying a deceased pet (I know, I know).
--Did LE take a shovel from the garage as evidence? We don't know. Would her truck tires have soil matches?
FWIW, I don't think she was panicked. I think from her body language, she was still very angry from whatever took place on Sunday night and therefore was concerned with payback. As has been said, NPD is very concerned about getting back at those who hurt them, in whatever form that takes.

Just an observation.

I have watched the video of Gannon getting into the truck a million times now and something about it bothered me and it finally hit me. I wasn't sure if Gannon was ill or hurt and then it hit me.

He seems hesitant. He's off balance (not physically). Almost wary, worried.

I know this is a stretch but that was the first thing that came to mind. I get that you can't see much but my sense was that he was hesitant to get in the truck.

I so agree with this. I've thought all along that he was reluctant to get in that pickup. I felt so sad for him because I think he knew. I wonder if she told him why they were going. Kind of like a threat or warning of what was to come. Or maybe he just sensed it, but I felt fear from him.

If my 11 year old had been missing for a fortnight I would not be so adamantly declaring that they were alive. I’m sure that is one of the first fears that cross your mind when a child is missing ‘did a bad man take him’ not ‘he’s alive, he’s going to come home and when he does he can tell everyone that I’m not involved’. A kid is missing for 2 weeks and she’s positive he’s going to just walk through the door after a little adventure? She’s not worried that he’s cold or hungry or upset? Just worried that people think she did something to Gannon? He’s 11, he’s not took himself off on a 2 week vacation. He could be anywhere, in any condition and SM just wants him to clear her own name? Hmmm...

While it appears GS does not exit the truck in the short clip someone would have to sit and watch the following 90 minutes up until 3:30 or 4 to be sure. How many times have you come back from a shopping trip and the child is lying on the back seat asleep or reading something and it's a bit of time before they come into the house? It's happened to me. So hopefully neighbor and dad sat and watched from about 2pm to 3:30pm before calling LE and hopefully LE watched that same timespan. I think it would be due diligence before making claims.
Even if he was back there sleeping and came into or was brought into the house well after the truck came back and LT exited, what happened to him then? The window of time to do something to him and dispose of his body at the home is very small.

TS was gone for 4 hours. So that is up to 2 hours to a location and back. Let's say @ 45 mph. And what direction did she go for 90 miles? Where does LE start? They did focus on one location. I don't know what info prompted that search.
I’m waiting for an official announcement as to whether there were other stops during the time she was gone. That would make the search area smaller

I have wondered since the neighbor’s video came out if they have searched the home for the clothes he was wearing in that video, since they differ from the clothes she reported him to be wearing when he went missing.
Color is a very significant factor in searches.. it's very difficult without color when searching rugged lands , shores, forests hills etc..

I don't think he's buried. It's hard to dig, especially frozen ground. And that dirt doesn't look like loose soil, but hard.

I suspect he was just....left. :( Or, put in water.

I hope there were foot searches on top of the drone searches in those areas. I'm sure the extra work is appreciated but you miss a lot with the drones (under trees, bridges, crawlspaces under buildings,etc...).
Yes there were. I recall seeing footage. If you go to thread 1 it’s all linked in there

It's the Age of Surveillance. This is a really good point, and likely speaks volumes as to why we haven't heard anything -- it takes time to sift through ALL the traffic and intersection cams and reassemble a timeline and direction of travel. Once that's done, there will be a highly accurate, verifiable timeline of the travels of that vehicle, which, when combined with the missing gaps, strongly narrows down possible disposal locations. Bonus points if the footage is good enough to see if anyone's in the vehicle with her at various points along the way. This is painstaking work, and chews up time and eyeballs.

If they need volunteers to view hours, even days of footage, I'm willing.

I read this yesterday. Very good insight in that article. This is why I am happy LE has spent time going back to the neighborhood to speak with everyone.

I found no articles of any crime scene investigators spending days in the Dilly case removing bag after bag of evidence from the Dilly home, as has happened in the case of little Gannon.

LE knows this is more than just a runaway. And my heart hopes so so much Gannon is found soon and brought home, as Harley was, so his family can find some peace.

Right. And if he were asleep or not feeling well in the back of the truck so we don't see him exit....did he suddenly bounce back and want to visit a friend?

No. That didn't happen.
