In regards to an earlier post about the possibility of TS posting here.

Years ago, on the Abraham Shakespeare case, Dee Dee Moore registered here and posted with us members, arguing with us, trying to declare her innocence in Shakespeare’s disappearance. Of course, she was later tried and convicted of his death and burial in her brothers back yard.

So it is more than possible TS created a name and is posting among us. Even if she doesn’t use her real name, she shouldn’t be too hard to spot, just look for the one who keeps saying she’s innocent and has no clue what could have happened to Gannon. IMO

Some of these people are giving Colorado a bad name.
Dang it. Most of us can speak in complete sentences with decent grammar. And we don't sound like THAT.
At least the babysitter doesn't live in Colorado anymore

The media is a brutal beast, to put it mildly. It's quite likely the station actually coached her on what NOT to say, as in "speak directly to the questions about the step-mother, and keep the focus there". And then, if she did say anything at all about Gannon, expressed any concern at all, that ended up edited out.

I only know this happens from first hand experience. I was involved in a rather high profile case (victim) a million years ago, and granted interviews to local and national media, talk shows, etc. SO much of what I said never aired, and in some cases, the stuff that did air made me look like an blithering idiot due to some really terrible editing. I was pretty upset about that, and stopped all the interviews for that reason. So, just something to keep in mind about the way media does stuff sometimes, for their own mysterious (cough*ratings*cough) reasons.

I guess I was a bit harsh on the former babysitter (that changed literally no one's mind this evening, and was likely used by the station for ratings), as I actually forgot this myself. FWIW.
I was wondering about that too. If she DID say something about Gannon and it was edited out. But, with what they had on the segment made the station look horrible too. Would that get better views than adding in something she may have said about him?

Gannon Stauch: What we know two weeks since the 11-year-old went missing from Colorado Springs home

Feb 10, 2020

Monday marks two weeks since Colorado Springs-area boy Gannon Stauch, 11, went missing from his home in Lorson Ranch, at the southeast edge of Colorado Springs.

[..]

- The Sheriff's Office's Major Crimes Unit was called in to assist with the case on Jan. 28. Before then, Gannon was classified as a runaway.

[..]

- Albert [dad] and Hiott [bio mom] , share custody of the boy, Birkenstock said.

- Gannon's status was upgraded to a missing endangered child on Jan. 30 due to his age, need for medication, winter weather and the length of time he's been missing.

- An initial report that the boy was last seen at the 🤬🤬🤬 & Go on Mesa Ridge Parkway near Fountain was incorrect, according to the Sheriff's Office.

[..]

- In a Jan. 31 interview with Gazette news partner KKTV, Letecia [step mom] claimed she was initially denied her request for a lawyer by Sheriff's Office detectives.

- Letecia also said that her 17-year-old daughter was briefly put in handcuffs when detectives pulled over their vehicle Jan. 30. She claims deputies had guns drawn and told her they were going to shoot her without identifying themselves as law enforcement officers.

[..]

- On Feb. 5, Fourth Judicial District Attorney Dan May visited Gannon's home. Authorities quickly squelched speculation criminal charges are imminent.

[..]

- On Feb. 7, a “remote-operated vehicle with sonar and video” was used to look for evidence in a small pond near the boy’s home.

Here's to hoping that Thread #9 is the one where we find Gannon.

LE interviewed that babysitter. She told the KDVR reporter she could not discuss what she told LE.

What details, other than the sparsity of information she offered in her MSM interview could that babysitter have offered to LE? I imagine it wasn't much more significant than what we heard, which wasn't much of anything.

How did KDVR get that interview? Contact via LE or was it via other means?

Shifting thoughts here...

What distance must a mind travel to move from being a SM-caregiver to a hurt-kid-disappear-kid-cover-up-criminal? I'm beginning to doubt GS was hurt and/or disappeared intentionally. I'm beginning to get a vibe that GS may have suffered a health-related episode, maybe an accidental overdose of medication or unintentional harm which morphed in to a critical condition. That assumption raises the question: was GS still conscious when he was left at whichever destination? Was he left alone or left in the hands of someone who wanted to 'help'? Two weeks now? This is all SPECULATION, just playing out a random scenario, which the farther I develop the idea the more ridiculous it seems but, who knows....

Hi- newbie here- does anyone know if Gannon had a backpack? I've glanced quickly at missing posters and original post here but see no mention. I'm in MA and I ask because, yesterday morning, I saw a boy from across an intersection while I was sitting at a red light. He had a blue jacket and jeans on with dark hair and was wearing a grey backpack (not 100% on the color). I had been reading about this case over the weekend and something about this boy jumped out to me- he seemed almost like he was unsure of where he was going; crossed the street and then back again and took a turn down another street which would have led him back where he came from. I was at the time unfortunately rushing my son to urgent care so this thought really didn't come back to me until now. Do we know if he might have ties to anyone in MA? I'm debating whether I should call the tip line or I'm thinking too much into this..
Welcome to WS. If you go back to page 1 you will see links and a timeline to catch you up. No backpack reported as to be missing from the home. Or on the missing flyer.

I am assuming the next interview will be TS's hairstylist that claims she takes cares of her hair so well, that there is no way she would hurt Gannon.
Just don’t be gullible and believe her dog when he does an interview.

So for those of us who haven’t seen the babysitter’s interview, it was all about Gannon, right?? Because isn’t that what a babysitter would want to talk about when a child is missing? A child she has watched over and cared for?
I was going to ask the same. What was the actual agenda- the stepmom, or learning anything more about Gannon, whether she could picture him running away etc. Did she talk about him? I missed it, too.

Still new and will not be posting any outside links unless I've been granted permission. Sorry about yesterday SM post.

This is speculation on my part, but escaping an abusive ex narcissist I witnessed the ex practicing his lies outloud. It was as if he repeated it enough, he would be more believable. If a lie detector test is ever introduced to the parents in the future, could it be that some of the alleged sm postings be rehearsal?
Also not sure about the first interview of TS, but someone who has been a hiking enthusiast, my thoughts are that perhaps the trip that Monday morning included a hike? If the sister was elsewhere, it could have been an attempt to spend alone time with Gannon. The petsmart TS went to that morning is within a mile of 2 decent hiking areas. Could it be that it was intended that the boy find his way back to the shopping center and was left to his own devices? Idk, but my mind is racing with these scenario.

I keep praying for Gannon's safe return, and keep hoping when I check the updates that he will have been found. I will pray longer and louder.

I think they just jumped on the controversy bandwagon. Whoever it was at the station that saw all the poop on social media decided it was a hot topic, and that's likely all they care about, honestly. Being THE local station taking on the hot topic of the step-mom's social media insanity. Skanky tabloid magazines make the publishers look bad too, and that hasn't hurt sales at all, so... it's a thing, sadly.

It really is sad that someone who interacted with Gannon often, had no words to share about him.
One must account for the intent of the news producer... which topic they wanted their interviewee to discuss.

Babysitters on air?
I had the same sitter for years. She knew almost nothing about me... because I don't share too much, and frankly, my private life was not her business.
This is getting ridiculous.
They need to get serious.
I thought a little kid's life was at stake???

I know... that was.. ridiculous. I do keep thinking about TS and wth she is doing right now.. cursing at her TV screen? Yelling at people via texts? Scrolling through the 8 previous threads here, starting to sweat a little?
There will be justice for Gannon!!
I think she's really busy over in the snake pit, aka cesspool. There's a new page especially for her, a support group.

She's gonna need it :)

I'd love to, like, see a transcript of this interview, because, like, you know, I don't know what she managed to, like, actually say that wasn't, you know…I don't know.

JMO…IDK…YKWIM..IDK...

Lol! Thank you for a little brevity in a so desperately sad case.

It's interesting because it's not even a Springs station. It's a Denver station. Odd.
