I snuck my way into that 'support group' for Tee, on FB.

There were people on there giving her specific advice, on how to post and speak, to get more public support ....She may have actually paid attention...
Yes, she is now addressing all the questions people have about her story. I guess it's more important to her to clear up all the speculation than it is to help LE with their investigation as they clearly asked her not to talk about any of those details. Jmo

Clearly this statement was not vetted by a competent attorney. While worded much better than her previous rants, it contradicts previous statements, raises more questions than answers, and glosses over very important things that must be addressed.

So if not coordinated with police or an attorney, WHO is helping her compose this statement, and what is their motivation?

That was likely the only explanation she could come up for LE as to why Gannon was not captured on camera leaving the house or walking to the friend's house.

Now I am getting an idea why this case is so complicated for LE. TS had an explanation for everything. They have to follow up on everything that she told them in the search for Gannon while running a parallel investigation along side it to find out what really happened. Jmo
I totally agree. I had a relative that was much like Tee. She always had a million excuses and talked in circles. She was exhausting to talk to.

We knew she was stealing from various family members, but she always had complex 'explanations' and inconsistent stories that changed from day to day. She married my uncle and he couldn't see what she was doing, and would believe her explanations for why the credit cards were maxed out etc etc....

Sure some people are careless with their tools and leave them laying around. Kids are sometimes curious and touch things they should not. However, folks I know with woodcutting tools keep them stored properly. One, they are sharp but they are also expensive. Doing craft work like that, in most cases, means you care about those tools.
Not to mention that the blades would rust from being left out in the open. We personally take the batteries out of power tools, unplug the big ones and remove blades before storing them. I have to clean the blades off from all the dust. It looks like a sizable garage too- I don’t foresee tools laying around the ground.

I wonder why TS is so adamant about talking about the gate. It seems like such an odd thing to dwell on.

The statement is bizarre. I don't really know how else to feel about it.

Yes, they are expensive and usually well cared for. And there is the almost universal understanding of, "Don't Touch Dad's Tools."

I know people can get hurt in garages by tools - totally believable. It happens. But they don't end up disappeared a couple of days later.

This story is ... a story.

Big red flag that she skips events of Sunday night.

Yes, and the emphasis that Gannon is proud that he has the only key.

haha, and since Albert has the selfie pic, maybe he'll just post that right up on media so we all can see how happy they were!
Oh, yes. I'm sure she was like" Smile Gannon and look happy. We got to make your father think everything's perfectly fine Even though you're sick and hurt. And I'm about to do something horrible to you." OMG her comparisons to Jodi Arias personality are uncanny!!

Honestly Id try to get something to stem the bleeding until we made it into the house. Then I would clean and bandage properly.

Cut in a tool? Risk of infection. Into bathroom to wash out the wound and dress.

I'm studying what I can find for exterior shots of the home.

Here's an FYI about homes in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area (I've had four). New construction is very similar and the garages are snug. Two car garages barely fit two cars in a lot of cases. Three car garages, often the third stall is used just for storage, bikes, sporting equipment, etc, especially busy families with children. Many larger trucks are simply too big to park in these tight garages. Additionally most HOAs have prohibitions against street parking overnight. That being said, even with a three car garage, three cars would be a challenge to house.

What I'm wondering about in this case is 1. the location of the gate. (Best I can tell, theirs might not be visible but could be inset on the far side of the garage. I believe I can see each of their side neighbors' gates.) And 2, where the family keeps their garbage cans. I ask because surely an HOA prohibits them from being visible from the street. Garage space might be at a premium. Perhaps their trash cans are kept behind the gate.... jumping off what TS said in her Open Letter of Guilt, might there be a slight blood trail to the garage and to the gate, from multiple trips to THE TRASH CAN?

It's possible items then went out with the regular trash pick up (on Thursdays, based on curb placement of neighborhood trash cans in MSM photos) or those items could have been removed from the trash and relocated on Monday.... like to a pond.

Wow.............this is the pause before she pulls out of the driveway. Unbelievable.

"There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped. We always send pictures to Albert when we are out and about or when he is away. "

Exclusive: Gannon Stauch’s stepmother releases statement about boy’s disappearance
Then why was Albert so upset when he saw the video footage and realized she had lied about going to the friends house?

And why did she lie initially?

My husband's woodworking garage shop; we never even try to use it as a garage. We don't walk around in there barefoot. Ever. From shots I've seen of their garage, and the fact they could pull a car in, he either doesn't do much work and he cleans up really well immediately after each project, or that's a load of crock she's writing.

Absolutely. If a child cuts themselves on a woodworking tool....very dirty and it would require careful washing with strong cleansers to make sure....If it was a deep or large cut, I'd take the child to an urgent care to get properly cleaned out. Tools can have toxic microscopic particles...

What does him (alledgedly) cutting his foot have to do with his disappearance?

I mean, i know why she made this.......I mean, I know why she threw this in there.....there must have been blood found. But it seems irrelevant to his disappearance. Especially if she is "working with the police". I wonder if the sisters can verify this foot cut? Or if he told his mom or dad about it?

Ok now that I'm caught up!
  1. Please! Please! Let this be the day Gannon is found or an arrest is made! PLEASE!
  2. So were supposed to believe (between this statement and others she has said) that his mother has had him kidnapped. I'm sorry but those cries I heard out of LH is of a mother that is broken, not one that is acting in some insane story about abducting and hiding her own son.
  3. Now, I have spend most my life in various parts of Colorado and I am one that when I was younger always walked without shoes, even in winter, and I have 3 kids that I'm constantly going behind and making put on shoes when outside (I'm in WNY now and there is always snow here) BUT, if there were tools and items on the garage floor that were able to cut him bad enough to where he had to be bandaged, why would she allow him to be in that area without shoes.
  4. I am guilty of car selfies. More than I would like to admit. BUT from the video you can tell the car wasn't in park while the supposed selfies were being taken. Maybe I'm over thinking this or maybe she just doesn't care. Why would she have the truck in drive on a sloped driveway while her stepson was not buckled in yet taking selfies. That doesn't make to me. If I'm messing around taking pictures, I'm going to have my car in park.
  5. Again, I have kids, I couldn't tell you amount of times I have had to bandaged a cut. But what I have a question about. If the cut was bad enough that it got blood on the floor and car, how was he able to go hiking the next day. That really doesn't make sense. If it was a small cut, a drop or two of blood, I can see that. But enough blood to be in multiple places seems like it would be sore the next day and probably not want to go hiking
  6. . Why does an 11 year old have the ONLY key to the gate? My 11 year old wold lose her head if it wasn't attached. If there was more than one key and wanted him to learn responsibility, I can see letting him have the only key.
  7. If the SO had a description of who may have taken him from the very beginning, why wouldn't they release that? Has that ever happened before? I don't think so.
Although there is a probability that what she is saying is true, after her past actions there is no chance in he** I will believe it until/unless EPSO comes out with a statement saying it is true.

I know, that was my thought too.

IMO, she had to explain away the evidence of blood....so he cut his foot and then they all went hiking but he was sick (or hurt) and couldn't go to school the next day yet could go see a friend that afternoon. Makes no sense.

But it must all be true because she took a selfie.

The good thing here is that she said he cut his foot on Saturday, not Monday after sisters had left the house. So, I’d be especially interested to hear what Laina said about any signs (or lack thereof) of a cut foot.

Not that it would change the fact that I don’t believe this scenario in the slightest.

Can you please share your thoughts..
See humble’s last post and I’ll bounce off hers. I’ve been thinking all along LS has promoted this theory. It is my only hope for Gannon’s live recovery. I need something to hope for so I hold onto the improbable. My mind and logic tells me LE will find a body. My heart shouts something else. Gannon’s mom has given me no basis to back up LS’s promoted theory. I have no reason to doubt anything Gannon’s mom says. She is speaking the truth. She’s not involved in his disappearance. My heart breaks for her. I can barely watch her videos. She wants her baby back now!

My hypothetical theory is based on LS possibly handing him off to another person, unknown to us. But not for the purposes of returning Gannon to his mom. I don’t know why she would carry out this plan. If this is her plan, I don’t know what the end game could possibly be. It is illogical. The pass off could either have been a live or dead Gannon. idk. I hope for a live. I don’t want to give up yet. I’m not emotionally ready to accept his death. Some days, I wish I wouldn’t have launched this thread. Who knew it would become controversial? The social media threw me. Cray Cray is disturbing. Delineating facts from fiction is nearly impossible. I’m compulsively obsessed with finding Gannon. As a result, I’m becoming cloudy and close in my objectivity. I need to mentally distance myself to review The incredible and chronological Media thread (many thanks to @oviedo) to re-evaluate. I’m anxious for updates and current search area information from the EPC Sheriff. I think he’s doing a good job. Maybe today. I think we might after LS’s interview. imo

I think she’s trying to insinuate that he ran away going out the gate, to explain why he’s not on any cameras leaving through the front door. But that’s just my thought — with her, there’s really no telling!
