There's so much going on in stepmoms released statement. There's a small part of me that believes she's come unhinged enough to purposely add outlandish falsehoods to her statement to watch it burn on SM.

For one, I think the mention of her husband was not really to thank him. She was blasting him.

For me, I'm still focused on Gannon being alive Monday morning. If that video is a fact, this is a big deal. The window then closes from him being seen in the driveway around 10am(ish), to being reported missing later in the early evening. I believe the events of Sunday night are important. While she was spilling her guts, regardless of LE advice, she still stayed away from Sunday.

She's also claiming she did not leak any videos. Is she claiming now that someone else did that, someone was posting as her under a false profile?

Her very last sentence "I encourage you to think of any suspicious cars that may have been in the area watching a few days prior and keep praying for G!" Yikes - this one sentence was an interesting way to end her statement. I despise it.

My takeaway, is that she wants the public to believe that Gannon managed a somewhat sophisticated escape in broad daylight, during a time that's very busy for families to be returning from work and being more visible outside of their homes.

I've thought from the beginning that Sunday was the critical day in terms of a precipitating event.

Her last sentence is a pathetic, patently obvious attempt to throw suspicion off of herself.

The only "suspicious car" whose movements in that area are of interest and need to be reported to LE isn't even a car.

It's a truck.

A red truck, to be exact.

She's vile.

Yes, he probably has had a tetanus shot. I don't know if I necessarily would go to the doc but I definitely would be mentioning it to the kid's father as soon as I cleaned up the wound to discuss.

Why would you feel the need to give explanations for evidence that has not been publicly released yet. So now we know something happened in the garage that caused Gannon to bleed. Some evidence has probably been found around the gate too, judging by how much she mentions it.

Then she is saying she hasn't spoken out as the police asked her not to, yet here she is, now dropping in suspicious cars and a person that has been sent??!!! Who even knows if this is true.

All this woman needed to do was issue a statement apologizing for her recent behavior, and say she looks forward to clearing her name when the case is resolved and step out the spotlight. It appears she just can't help but be the centre of all this drama.

Also it's a bit too late now to try and show some empathy for Gannon and the family after all she has said and done.

Gannon is missing IN ORDER TO COVER UP the source, nature or severity of his injury. Which tells me she is directly responsible for causing or inflicting it.

From the moment that injury happened, every move she made IMO was to assist in the cover up.

It won't be more complicated than this.

Crazy. Now she's talking about Saturday. Must be why LEO has asked people to check their cameras up to a week before he went missing. If what she says is true about Gannon leaving out the gate, etc,etc, etc why would they per her own account tell her she's not telling the truth. If someone did come pick him up, if he left out the gate. Why no Amber Alert or car description?

Even if she's somewhat skimmed over here she knows we can't discuss it unless it's MSM. I mean we sometimes slip, but to have an all out discussion it can't just be on FB. What made me think of that is here isn't like FB (thank god). We have discussions from all view points, it's not just a bashing TS group. There is more logic in most viewpoints also.

Oh I’m sure she is. I’ve seen multiple cases where it was likely they were even posting themselves. The Rebecca Zahau case is a prime example. There were quite a few trolls that would pop on every time there was activity on the thread to defend the accused. MOO

There's been a few posters at the beginning that I def thought was her, but they stopped when a few threw little comments here and there about how obvious it was. I doubt that has stopped her from reading thought. I hope she does. I hope she see how ridiculous this statement sounds.

There was no compelling reason, that we know of, to go on a hike on Sunday, so why take kid with wounded foot on a hike?

Maybe the wound happened AFTER the hike....but why lie about the timing?

Wait...Gannon cut his foot on something in the garage (conveniently it was Albert’s tool) and she decided to bandage him up on the tailgate of the truck?? With what medical supplies? Who here stores the necessities in their garage? Why wouldn’t she bring him into the house? My instinct would be to bring the child to a sink to clean the wound. But that’s just me.

Thank you for that detail. I have been wondering about that but was reluctant to specifically ask and set off pages of neigbhorhood street parking regulation examples.

But, I question why her vehicle was in the street when she and Gannon left that morning. She pulled it into the driveway before he got in. But why was it in the street in the first place?

I know some neighborhoods don't allow that overnight, so did she use the vehicle earlier that day?

What I'm thinking is she moved that vehicle out of the driveway to access whatever car was in the garage. If she drove that car in the morning, it makes sense she would drive it back into the garage but not bother moving her vehicle back to the driveway at that time.

Not sure what that could mean....but would like to know what she did Monday morning.

My guess is that she either drove the truck earlier that morning, or maybe the "no overnight parking rule" is not too strictly enforced.

I was thinking along the same lines as you that maybe she had to move the truck so her daughter could get out of the garage, but I finally found a video that showed that the side of the garage that will fit a car is the far side, or in front of the black suv. It was the "police trying to shut garage door / shouting 'what are you doing here' video".

She also, IMO, knows that police won't come out to contradict her even if they know she's spouting horse hockey about them "knowing all along" and these being "events cleared with LE from the git-go", because then LE will give her a line into their investigational direction/manner of thinking.

I am shocked by the SM’s confidence as she tells what happened.

There may some truths in what she says.

It makes consider that she passed G off to someone before returning home Monday afternoon. Is this why she feels in her mind she isn’t responsible and plays the victim?
