I would say it's laughable, but it's not.

I almost don't want to discuss this "key to back gate" nonsense and thus give it any credibility, but I will point out that it's possible Gannon was allowed to keep the only key because it's not so dire an entrance/exit, that a desperate person can't surmount the lack of a key by removing said gate's hinges.

It's probably not something you'd dance a jig over having to do; but impossible, it's not.

I wonder too because Nicole Fierro said "We’ve reached out to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for comment on Letecia’s statement and are waiting to hear back.". Maybe they're trying to put something together now

The best thing they can do is say "No comment" until they are ready with an arrest warrant. They will not be goaded.

Anybody else noticed she blamed AS for the "foot cut." She states he cut his foot because Albert leaves his tools around (paraphrasing), not that he cut his foot because she wasn't being a parental figure and making sure he was wearing shoes in an area that is known to have objects that can injure a person. She REALLY can't take any responsibility for any of her actions.

Initial thoughts after reading that mess...
The obvious that everyone has stated so far, she's trying to spin some crazy story to account for some evidence that was found.
If there was this much more information regarding Gannon's disappearance I'm sure we would've heard from LE... something... That he was possibly with so and so, he had a cut and might need assistance... something.
Regarding the cut... just... wow. There would be no hiking if a kid had a cut bad enough to leave blood evidence. They would be crying and complaining the whole time. Also, why would you put him on a tailgate in the cold at night in Colorado to bandage him up and not take him in the warm house that is just feet away.
I honestly don't know what else to think. My head is spinning. But I do know this story sounds like a whole lotta made up BS.
Sounds like the pressure is on full-force and someone is unraveling. IMO.
Let's go LE!!! Get her!!! and BRING GANNON HOME!

That's what it sounds like to me. LE probably confronted her with the evidence and she explained that Gannon just happened to sit on the back bumper after going barefoot in the garage in the middle of winter and cutting his foot on a sharp tool. Jmo

Well, I'm pretty sure she also thinks that having deleted her Facebook with the posts on it saying whatever she said about "being down in the basement with headphones on, and thus not hearing sick-but-recovered Gannon leave for his friend's" (and, to be clear, I'm sure she said it in other places than her FB also; and that someone in connection with the case has in-person said it to LE); she thinks we've forgotten that (a) she said that; (b), and that it makes zero sense if she's "actually" (Alibi #2) watching Gannon exit the passenger side of the car, instead of Alibi #1, pedaling an exercise bike in the basement with headphones on.

Ha! Like there aren’t a ton of screenshots of everything she has posted. For her to not think LE isn’t tracking her SM very closely is bizarre.

Yes - and in a case of a missing child, who gives a crap about the details that don't help find the child (or that endear the public to the child so they will care....but everyone already cares about Gannon!).

No need for details about the flower pot, unless you want yourself to look good. Who cares?! A boy is missing. (Plus those "fun" details undermine the story of a runaway...sounds like a happy home with Legos and flower-pot gifts in progress.)

Tell pertinent details, like where you went Monday and why Gannon didn't return.

Gosh I am trying to keep up here. Thanks all for posting. Everything she has said this far has a reason. Alarming about blood. So we are to believe he is the gate keeper and left that way. Seems she is throwing shade again at Mom. Now Dad who has banished her from the house early in is wonderful. She gave away she staying at a motel. Random thoughts by me. Word salad with a purpose.

There is not a lot 'known' because it was not in any msm articles. So we don't have confirmed timeline.

Would like to know if any of this additional information was told to Gannon's dad BEFORE the alleged disappearance. If she was in that close contact with him she surely told him about a cut on Gannon's foot.. If nothing else to berate him for leaving his tools out where kids could get hurt. Would love to know what the text messages between her and BD show during the days before he got home.

Yes, he probably has had a tetanus shot. I don't know if I necessarily would go to the doc but I definitely would be mentioning it to the kid's father as soon as I cleaned up the wound to discuss.

That would make sense because remember that they allowed Chris Watts' father to come into the interrogation room while the detectives stepped out and the presence of his dad helped break him down further. I wouldn't rule it out.

So there are supposedly sharp woodworking tools laying around in the garage. Kinda think it’s strange to allow a child to walk around with no shoes. As a parent, don’t see that happening. And than go hiking the next day with a child with an injured foot? Again, as a parent, forget about the fact his foot likely hurt and a parent would be concerned to not irritate that injury. But who is going to want to go hiking with a child who has a hurt foot? The nagging and complaining alone would drive any parent insane.

I think there was blood found on the tool AND in the house. Injured foot is a perfect explanation if there was little traces of blood found in various places of the house, unlike say if it was a hand injury.

AS is Military. I find it hard to believe he leaves tools laying around,and doesn't have it all in perfect order ready for inspection at a moments notice. MOO
