Jacob Paddock Weeks, who is in his early 20s, crashed his white Dodge Ram into a guard rail on Feb. 2. The crash happened on Highway 285 in Indian Hills. Weeks' family has not seen him since. Witnesses report they saw Weeks running from the crash....

Canine teams unsuccessfully searched for Jacob. There was no sign that he had been seriously hurt....

"I think deep down, we’re hoping he’s hiding at somebody’s house. We just don’t know why nobody would just let us know he’s alive," said Amanda.

Drug paraphernalia was found in Jacob's truck. His family says he was known to use drugs, but he always kept in touch.

Days after the crash, Jacob’s family passed out fliers at homes in the area.

The family said it appears a mechanical problem with a tie rod caused Jacob's truck to crash.

The family filed a missing person's report with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

The last person to see Jacob was an uncle in Denver the day before he went missing.

A Facebook page has been established for anyone who has information about Jacob's disappearance.

The search for a missing Bailey resident led the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to Tiny Town on Friday.

According to Dionne Waugh, spokeswoman with Jeffco, the Sheriff’s Office received a tip that 26-year-old Jacob Paddock-Weeks might be in the area, but the search has thus far been unsuccessful. Dogs and a drone were in Tiny Town looking for the man, who has been missing since Feb. 2 when he crashed his Dodge Ram into the guardrail at U.S. 285 and Parmalee Gulch Road and left the scene of the accident.

Colorado State Patrol confirmed that a warrant has been issued for Paddock-Weeks’ arrest due to a probation violation. By the time CSP arrived on scene of the accident, Paddock-Weeks was gone. Colorado court records indicate Paddock-Weeks pleaded not guilty to several misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence, in November 2018. Furthermore, court records show he is on probation for a possession of a weapon by a prior offender charge.

The vehicle he was driving during the accident. It has since been impounded. Maybe someone rembera the truck along with his picture to help make the connection.

Based on the attached, Jacob is currently incarcerated at the Washington County Colorado Jail & Detention Center in Akron, CO. Just posting this here since, if this information is accurate, he is no longer considered missing. Can someone verify if that’s the case?

I tried to find more information, but couldn't. I found another site that had the same ambiguous information with no dates, no charges, etc.

I did find his "find" page on FB, which appears IMO to be run by Jacob's parent(s), that states that Jacob is still missing:

Jake Paddock-Weeks Missing since 02/02/19 (Most recent public post was January 24, 2020)

I also found this MSM article, dated January 24th, 2020, stating that Jacob is still missing:

Mysterious disappearance of Denver-area man still unsolved one year later

I know that @GraceG is really great at finding charges/convictions, so maybe she can help with this situation. The inmate information might be old information, because I know I read he had prior charges and/or convictions.

That site is usually very inaccurate, but I did contact the detention center just in case, and they verified that he has not been in that facility since July 10,2017.

I had no luck finding any official record. The state run Judician site requires a paid subscription to view records. I also checked the 13th Judicial court dockets going back six months (county he was shows as arrested in in the Inmate locator) and there was nothing with his name in that time period. I did find this information that shows he was released from jail several years ago. JACOB C PADDOCKWEEKS Inmate 171178: Colorado Prisoner

Sheriff's Office Searches For Man Missing Since Early 2019

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office organized a grid search for a man who disappeared more than a year ago. Jacob Paddock-Weeks was reported missing on Feb. 2, 2019.
A spokesperson for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jenny Fulton, said the missing man’s family hired a private company to conduct a search Monday. That company’s bloodhound “hit” on a particular area, and public agencies were alerted.
Monday’s search was not successful.

Kudos to Mr. Weeks for using his chopper build dream to bring awareness for such an awesome cause! Please cast your vote & share the link/post so others can vote too.

George Weeks, the father of Jacob Paddock-Weeks who has been missing from CO since Feb 2019, is seeking votes in this year's Dream Chopper Build. George's dream is to work alongside Paul Teutul Sr of Orange County Choppers to build a chopper themed and dedicated to all missing persons (MP) and their families. George's plan is to take the chopper to various rallies and events to bring awareness about the MP epidemic in our country. George also plans to ride the bike during MP searches, vigils, state-sponsored "MP days" and other events held around the country. Ultimately, George hopes the chopper and the build process will focus attention on MP, bring the biker brother- and sisterhoods together to help make noise for the missing, enact and strengthen laws regarding missing people, and help bring MP home! Please cast your free vote daily!

Paddock

After a single-car crash on a Colorado highway, Jacob Paddock-Weeks walked away from his vehicle, apparently unharmed. But four years later, his family is still searching for answers.

Even the joy of a new grandchild is muted for Amanda Weeks, still missing her stepson.

“In my heart, I still believe he’s out there,” Weeks said.

Family fears missing teen is human trafficking victim
She has refused to give up on Paddock-Weeks, hoping for his return.

On Feb. 2, 2019, the 27-year-old man lost control of his truck on a stretch of Highway 285 in Jefferson County, Colorado.

“Jacob had been going about 80 miles an hour down the mountain, and he hit about 500 feet of the inner guardrail coming down the mountain,” Weeks said.

Witnesses say Paddock-Weeks got out of the truck, seemingly unhurt. He ran across the road and headed east, into the wooded hills. According to an accident report, his wallet, ID and two cellphones were left behind in his vehicle, along with a small bag of drugs.

At the time of the accident, Paddock-Weeks was on probation for several misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence.

“I think it’s probably more than likely the reason he took off from, walked away from the vehicle, was knowing that he had paraphernalia in there,” Weeks said.

It was the last time anyone saw her stepson. Weeks said police initially thought he made it safely off the mountain, ahead of a massive storm.

I remember witnessing an accident where a compact car got t-boned by a bigger vehicle pushing it about 30 feet onto a grassy verge. For a moment nothing happened then the doors on the passenger side opened and 3 people scrambled out including the driver. Onlookers rushed over to the occupants and they seemed okay; hyperventilating and shaky then all of a sudden the driver had blood coming out of his ears and mouth and dropped like a sack of stones. We didn't wait around but what initially seemed like minor injuries ended up looking like the driver had some really serious head injuries. The same thing could have happened to Jacob: pure adrenal got him out of the vehicle and into the woods but he may have had head injuries that affected his ability to be aware of his surroundings.

In 2021 a little boy Christophe Ramirez, 3 years old, went missing from his yard. He was gone for nearly three days. They found him miles away from his home. Some child specialists said kids that age may be aware they are lost but they don't have the ability to rationalize their predicament. They can't figure out to remain where they are or at least turn around and retrace their steps, they just keep moving forward, further and further away from home. If Jacob had head injuries he may have lost the ability to figure out to remain near the accident.
