King is going to repeat Delusion/Psychotic as many times he can...BUT nothing he can say will detract the bottomline..He Knew Right From Wrong and was Cognizant /capable understanding what he was planning was WRONG and against the Social Fabric...Colorado Law/Sanity ruling is clear.

I hate to tell you..we live amongst a whole bunch of folks who are delusional ( back in the day "dreamers" were considered delusional)..but Unless you want to throw people in jail who talk about possibilities and likelihoods and framing facts for OFF the mark yet THEY believe it...THROW them into Psychiatric Hospital!
Back in the '60's..I saw some horrendous treatments of people who were in my view fairly aware..but were never helped ..Just medicated to CONTROL.....This even happens today with Elderly :gaah:

JH is an example of someone who was incapable of expressing himself or interact with anyone ( family was viewed as authority) for fear of being locked up or reprimanded ( spankings he related to Dr. Reid)..Feared failure..feared interacting socially..that developed into an actor Hatred for fellow humankind!!

He's Correct about one thing..He's broken/brain thinking cannot be cured but can be controlled..BUT only with constant monitoring..as they can or nor ever will be trusted to maintain it....

Well, Defence have definitely made some headway today through this cross. Brauchler will have an important re-direct.

Someone said Metzler gets very well paid . But he was the court appointed psych post arrest .....anybody know any more?

If I was him, I'd be frustrated now, this is not what he wants to hear is it? I'm sure he'll rally at re-direct.

Personally, I 've learnt more about JH this session than I have in all the rest. Raised my awareness & understanding about MH too.

I do think this testimony will be making the jury wonder if medication caused his behaviour. Definitely not what the prosecution wants!
