No doubt in my mind. And all of the rest of the jurors know this is a BIG deal, whatever it is. Because this is so strange. This whole morning is just a "I wanna do-over" type morning!

I'm sure the defence will try for a mistrial. I suppose it will depend on how many people have heard this information. Will they bring them in one by one and ask them in a vague way without saying what it is?

This actually makes me quite annoyed. The judge has made it clear that the jury DO NOT read about/watch the news and to avoid reading anything about this case.

Why would this juror even talk blatantly about this with other jurors?!

Ultimately this is a very serious case and a mans life is at stake. Whatever we think about James Holmes, he deserves a fair trial.

yup! I think the remainder of the day could be spent on jury and potential leaks.....angers me that this happened. Its not like the Judge hasn't told them not to read/talk or anything about this trial

I may be the only one, but personally I am glad that if a juror on such a high-profile (and long) case as this one is stupid enough to read the news about the trial, that she is also stupid enough to talk to other people about it.

It would be more f-up'd in my opinion if a juror was reading the news but just keeping it to him/herself.
