You may have something of a point, but keep in mind that in defense documents they've acknowledged he was the gunman and so it is fair game for the prosecution to say that. They don't explicitly have to prove it. Phil Tenser 7News

I apologize..we really need a soapbox icon here..sometime's I just get infuriated by such silliness..I've been watching and following cases since OJ case ( aging myself )..so give's you a kinda of background on myself. Then my medical understanding can only fan those flames because layperson's may not get all the nuances!!

It's ridiculous! I'm starting to think now they're all just trying to come up with reasons to be dismissed. But if I had already spent this much time in the courtroom for this trial, I'd be pissed if I was dismissed this far in.

Yes, indeed. I'll admit I went into this case remaining neutral, wanting to hear all evidence before leaning towards the prosecution. I believe JH does have a severe mental illness, but was he insane at the time of the theater shootings? I didn't know. Haven't heard the defense case yet, of course. But after hearing the prosecution evidence, sounds like he know exactly what he was doing.
