It looks like he's trying to get the restraints off to me.

That's what it looks like to me too.

You can clearly see him move the restraints from behind him to the front. He thinks he's so clever!

When deputy enters cell and advised him it's time to go into courtroom...he describes his having a smirk on his face ..Jumping out of seat..King (I think) OBJECTS!! Deputy is able to describe what he saw..and even demonstrate the smirk.smile to the juror's IMO..NO? it's not speculative at all!!!!!

yes, to one of his pre-trial hearings in court.

Thank you. So no sign of the psychosis that came a couple of months later then.

@larryryckman: Samour strikes statement about "smirk." Triska says video camera was clearly visible to defendant.

@larryryckman: Dan King questions Triska. King notes that previous 2-3 hours of jail cell video were not preserved.

Maisie..Shooting was July 2012 and this was about 2 months after the shooting. BTW~~ I was wrong about it being admissible :=( LOL But they can't unring THAT BELL can they!!
I wouldn't be surprised if def. calls for a Mistrial!!

  • #498
What was the prosecution showing with that video? I don't get it.

I wrote weeks ago that I had read JH didn't act 'crazy' till months after the shooting.

I wonder if this is the information I was talking about. I know I read something about him acting perfectly normally with no signs of psychosis or anything similar. His behaviour in that cell appeared quite normal to me. If I recall correctly JH didn't have any kind of meltdown or 'crazy' behaviour until November 2012 when he threw himself off the bed/against the walls.

Someone correct me if I have my timeline wrong! :D

They are trying to show that his actions had purpose, he knew where he was, playing with his restraints to test strength, purposeful watching the activities outside of his cell through the door's window...Oriented to time, place, self etc..Not delusional /psychotic behaviour indicated body language wise .

I just wish they could have shown video of him while in that courtroom..sitting with bank stare..out of it body language..which would show just how he does manipulate his appearance to suit his mission of deceitful presentations.. Just a thought anyway.
