OK! A rebuttal to the rebuttal!

these long winded BS responses to GB!!!! Juan would've stopped him by now- objection 'non responsive'. Judge- please just answer the question posed to you!

Yes, he would've!! OTOH, GB just lets him wallow around in whatever muddle he puts out there. It takes longer, but the resulting mess is the same.

I think Woodcock just did whatever he did for this case using the wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am approach. Just barely getting into it, just touching the obvious, knowing what the DT wanted. A quick buck. And now he is percolating in his own stew. This has been a disaster for him. JMHO.

Agree!
However, I was thinking. If his hourly rate is in the range of $300 - $400 and the DT put him on a strict budget, he probably was only able to do bare bones work. He was most likely limited by time constraints and could not do a thorough job.

Does anyone have this issue/ Can someone help... it's taking me ????seconds to reload this page. It used to take 20 seconds and I was :pullhair: but this is just ridiculous. Only WS pages I'm having issues with. (And since I have 4 WS threads open and refreshing, :gaah:)

It is so slow, that I was able to capture parts of each of the URLs of the 30+ sites that are trying to load when I refresh.

ETA: Just timed it by a clock.... to reload this WS page it took TWO MINUTES and 59 seconds!!!!

Dr Reid was brilliant!

Yes, he was brilliant! He also had a kind but authoritative voice, showing both confidence and caring at the same time. If ever I needed a good psych, he would be one in whom I would have confidence myself, and I think hearing him talk to me would be very calming. His patients, IMO, are very fortunate. The prosecution really hit a home run with him on the stand. And you could tell that he had been very thorough in the work and research he had done on JH and the case in general. What a guy!

In another vein, I feel sure the Colorado Courts put their best person out there on this horrible case -- although there doesn't seem to be a lot of coverage or curiosity on this trial, it was surely BIG when it happened, so in putting GB out there as 1st chair prosecutor, they put their ace up. He doesn't miss a thing, and his associates up there are on their toes, too.

Oh, I hope this trial goes the way we feel it should, but you just never know.

I'm thinking someone should ask for their money back----he didn't do much of anything

Indeed, and every minute that W is up there, the meter is running... ka-ching, ka-ching

Yes, good point -- The DT prolly said -- in better words -- "Doc, just give us about $2,000.00 worth. That's all we can spend." So that's what they got -- the Blue Light Special.

Juror #118 being brought into court by defense as "she appears sleeping". Why oh why do the lawyer know who the alternates are as that is my first thought each time they bring this up.
