I've been wondering all along -- what have they got? Yes, this guy was a misfit -- and, IMO, through no fault of his own -- but he didn't ask for any help, as far as we know, and how much did his parents wonder & worry about him and try to get help for him? -- I'm sure he is way-on-out-there intelligent, high IQ & all, but IMO, he's not insane -- just has a hard time getting along.

Unless the DT has some amazing shrink who shows the jury how he is insane in a very effective & overwhelming way -- psychotic, specifically -- the verdict may well not go NGBRI.

Do we yet know (did I miss it?) what will happen if he is judged NGBRI? It doesn't sound like it is mandatory that the judge order him to be institutionalized until he is deemed legally "sane." And if he is institutionalized, will he be locked-up, STS, and guarded and not allowed "outside"? I do think this guy would do it again, or do something very harmful... and it scares me.

I do believe that JH will be institutionalised if he is found NGBRI. I don't know if there is a set time for him to stay in there though. Apparently he would be released once he is deemed sane.

All I know is that people keep referring to John Hinkley and how he is getting out and about after attempting to kill our President...(don't care it you voted for him or not--he was our President )and I always thought that it was considered an act of treason and never ever released...jmo As for JH---who knows--I truly believe he was sane at time of murders---and shootings --- sure has some mental issues but beyond that sentence him to either LWOP or death....either or

GB certainly showed that woodcock (LOL, sorry) misrepresented himself, experience & credentials! This is what the defense asked him to do for them, their fault, BUT, IMO the doc complied with their request for the right price!
