He was given Haldol prior to her seeing him. It’s an anti-psychotic medication

JH condition had become more organized after receiving the medication

Anybody recall time of day JH did his fall off bed.

BTW~~ ER staff have to stabilize patients medically BEFORE any consult Psychiatrist ...Haldol is also one of the first line drugs when a patient becomes combative or restless...very common after a head injury.

I have a feeling she and her two Residents saw him much later..after re-hydrations and r/o Head/brain scan/fractured skull etc.. Never mind whatever information the Jail staff sent along with his transfer. Def. is kind of hiding the ball here!

^^^^^ She is citing PAST history from the jail NOT what he was doing in the hospital. Just as I thought.... So, mean's it was during his starvation period increasing his delirium behaviours thus smearing feces and taking off cloths..I hope Pros. clarifies this behaviour for the jury.

Post treatment @ hospital ER he would go into his ability to act mode..Don't get me wrong..JH is definitely mentally ill...Schizoidtypal and NOT insane. Very manipulative and capable of knowing what he was doing and how to act. I would also point out..He was in jail for murdering 12 + 1 and seriously injuring 70+ others..So Understands exactly what is coming ...Panic!!

My thoughts exactly. The LEO who saw/arrested him outside the theater described how he acted & it didn't sound to me anything like doc described. Being in jail prolly affected him, too (it would make me crazy). He may have just wanted to get outta there for a while. Who knoze?

IMO, all of JH's actions that night in the theater seemed methodical and deliberate. Yes, horrible, but he was organized like a person who is in the grocery store shopping -- cool & collected -- following a list and getting it done.

This doc seems reasonable and is not "reaching" nor overdoing what she is explaining. Very matter-of-fact. I think I can listen to her w/no problem.
