Nov 19th AM - JH was oriented reasonably well. Person, place, month year. Not clear where he came from at 1st
That seemed abnormal to Dr
JH had been on anti-psychotics upon admission

Risperidone and Haldol don’t have much difference. Haldol used in emergency situations due to side effects
JH said he had previously heard voices
The frequency had decreased after medications given

Resident of Dr had seen JH earlier and noticed big difference in him after meds given
Dr said JH had delirium (alteration in mental state from medical condition)

They began treating JH with Haldol but later switched to Risperdal., usually used for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. #theatershooting

By the time Dr saw him metabolic disturbance had resolved by IV fluids

On 19th - Doc didn’t see what docs who 1st saw him observed. Dr mainly saw the psychosis

Dr says the psychosis, in his opinion, came on before JH stopped eating.
JH mentioned he was seeing shadows. JH was in restraints in the hospital.
(restraints couldn't hold my mom---)
