Alison Owens, nurse, says Holmes wasn't out of norm post-#theatershooting at Pueblo Mental Health Institute, but would seem odd as civilian

Mendoza: JH had sleep apnea and stopped breathing at times while he slept. #theatershooting

I strongly doubt it----based on other cases I've watched--

Same here -- I don't think I have heard it even in closing or opening remarks -- not in any state. There are certain things they cannot speak about, even though I'm sure they'd like the jury to hear it.

One case I saw -- death by vehicle, driver very, very intoxicated after an afternoon playing golf & bar-hopping -- drove in excess of 85 mph in residential area, rear-ended a 22 year old ballerina, killed her on the spot; he had a scratch on his forehead -- choices were 2nd Deg murder (could be like 7-- 15 yrs or so) or manslaughter (2--5 yrs or so). Jury gave manslaughter, but were very disappointed to hear sentence (3 years, rich doctor driver). But they could not be told what the various sentences could be. SMH. He's out of jail now -- she's still dead.
