You know I have got to believe that someone in the Jury realize that she may be knowledgeable but unable to treat. Treating is way more than reading/teaching and whatever else they need. This lady is gonna be hard to listen to as well as Mr. King.....not a good combo
And.....it is a smart jury

Uh oh....she's getting close to talking about his family....drama queen act is disgusting

Listening to Dr G testify, her voice sounds exactly like my divorce attorney.

At our first meeting I asked her how much the divorce would cost. She told me $2,000 give-or take. Well, $9,000 later I was still giving and she was still taking.

I feel bad but I did laugh!---sorry!

Now she is touching on JH's family mental history

I'm not paying any attention, too many words, in too long answers that end up not even answering the question!

Knitting a hat the son requested, watching GB hold his head, doing a puzzle on the iPad, getting my meds ready in case we have to hit the basement because of incoming storms, have the TV on for weather updates....and just got a pop up add on WS....darn, it was for something I am looking to purchase so I saved it....yes, I am bored!

Anyone hear or know of the warning about a patient should only go to Board certified doctors? This is a big deal! I heard King whispering in a panic & he quickly asked to approach!

Generally, board cert. consists of written & oral tests before a board (several members) of the discipline (surgery, cardiology, gyn., etc., etc.). If you pass written, you go to oral and then you select a number of patients during a time period (maybe a year, whatever the discipline requires) whom you treat and you write-up in detail all things that you did having to do with the patients. You present it to the board and must defend what you did & didn't do on the case. They judge and you may or may not obtain approval. It takes months & months of work. No small thing, and this is done while you are practicing medicine -- so some patients of docs are not being seen by a board-cert MD. That's how it works in the areas with which I am familiar.

If I'm on this jury.....I would have tuned her out an hour ago.....bragging about her tax paid fun and games....

OK..Rachel..You and your hubby can do all sorts of research..BUT Let Board certified folks apply your findings so that what you claim is then found to be reliable....

With 2 Juror's knowledgeable about this subject will know all about what I just stated above...

BTW~~ I have worked with many specialists who look at the same evidence and come to different opinions..based on their experiences...So yeah..Experts will politely disagree on the causations of symptoms..then treatment becomes complicated...LOL..ALL I know is I can report of cause and direct affect of the treatment ( med's etc)

The Gur's need to be somehow board certified in some specialty..otherwise their only "Gold Star" will be by hand claps for what they did..not so much as a proven theory by applied science....SMH

"Doctor, can you listen to me for a moment?" King asks Gur, his own witness, as she interrupts him again. #theatershooting

Well....we already know how long-winded this will be.
yep, seems a trend with defense experts testimonies. Think about it, how many pros. experts present like what we are hearing now????

Dr Reid set the standard for expert witnesses. He far outranks these so called experts.

Sometimes, actually many times, I think defense attorneys are just out of touch with reality.

According to her, she was way too special for such things as board certifications......she was a mom and wife and so special arrangements had to be made for her specialness...sounds like someone at the Univ. of Pennsylvania noticed early on that she was a really good scam artist and could obtain LOTS of government grants for the school....she admits she is really good at it.

I bet Mr King wanted to scream when Dr Gur offered that little gem to GB!

Well, he knew or should have known -- or maybe he knew & tried to slip it by -- but she sat up there early on & said what board cert she had & psych was not one of them.

Judge calls 20-minute break for #theatershooting jurors

#TheaterShooting Defense's Dan King asks Dr Gur, his own witness, to stop interrupting & to "listen to me for a minute." Both seem perturbed

So...Dr Gur is going over not just societeis of which she is a member, but those she isn't but is thinking of renewing in future. Compelling, relevant testimony? Yeesh! JMO
