I often (almost daily) wonder if the officer under the seal sleeps when he nods his head.....

The longer this goes on..The more sense I get that she didn't even write this report herself ( but someone on defence team) or she is truly ignorant on understanding how to write a proper report.

This could be WHY she never became board certified. She'd get booted so fast out of her interviews with her fast and loose application of findings of other's to her position..Plagiarize Much? I doubt she could have even pasted English Literature courses pulling a stunt like that!! IMO anyway :moo:

Here is what the Colorado Dept. of Corrections says about executions in Co. There are currently 3 individuals on their Death Row.

A total of 77 executions were performed between 1890 and 1967. Subsequently thereto, the death penalty was declared unconstitutional in 1972 by the United States Supreme Court in Furman v. Georgia. That case was overturned by the Supreme Court in the case of Gregg v. Georgia in 1976, and based on that precedential decision, the Colorado General Assembly revised the statutes to reinstate the death penalty for capital crimes in 1984.

On October 13, 1997, 53-year-old Gary Lee Davis was the state’s first execution in 30 years and the first to be executed by the current method of capital punishment, lethal injection.

BBM--THIS is what I have long suspected but believed it had never been dx, and if dx never thought it would make it into trial. It's just me, but it is very telling that he was diagnosed with ODD at age 8 and ultimately becomes a mass murderer--puts a huge dent in the insanity plea in my opinion.

ODD if left untreated often develops into CD, both of which are precursors for certain Cluster B adult PD's. I have always believed that JH had features of NPD

Good Info! Thanks!
IMO, oppositional defiant disorder = spoiled brat

I liked Juan---but I really really like GB---he goes in and gets the job done

I see why, Juan is tightly wound with a laser focus, he comes across as always ready to strike and uses non verbals to express his outrage and disdain, while GB is has the same laser focus, he is low keyed and assertive when situationally appropriate. I think they are the same strategically but have different styles.

there is little confidence left in Dr. Gur's voice like we heard before. GB is doing great discrediting her. I'm convinced at this point anyways

The defence team are so transparent. They know their 'expert' witness isn't doing well on that stand so they are panicking!

I see. So it could be years for the sentence to be carried out.

I think one of the people (there's currently only 2 in CO IIRC) has been there for 30+ years!

They don't want to carry out the DP? Or is this to do with the lethal injection? I recall there has been some controversy about the components in the injection.

ITA---Both get the job done. Amazes me that they really don't dwell to long on notes like some

AS a HC provider..WE were taught like 45 years ago+..When documenting on any patient in legal notes is that IF IT's Not Documented as completed, observed THEN it Never happened...

This witness is so unprofessional and making the ASSumption that her Word is GOOD enough ...SMH

Currently the Gov. in my state opposes DP--and there is a hold on them while he is in office---we have recently had two DP cases, one for sure didn't get DP the other I think they are still trying--Both (imo) deserve it.

@GeorgeBrauchler to Gur: In #theatershooting report, some of Holmes remarks are in quotes. Some aren't. Are they different? Gur: Not sure.

With all the electronics and stuff why couldn't she "face time" them or talk with them via a computer? Could still observe them as she likes to do--????

Wonder if she went to the hospital for anxiety & heart palyps like LaViolette did in the arias trial? She reminds me so much of her bias testimony! She believed & could find DV in anyone (even snow white, a fictional character). This doc will find schizophrenia in anyone as well,--- for the right price.

Memories of LaViolette gave me then, & give me now, near heart palpitations. She was an unbelievable witness, and so transparent -- when I watched her, my mind actually saw her in a royal robe on a throne (do I need therapy?) -- oh, I screamed much more at her than I have at Gur. L-V was really out there somewhere. I may be the only one in the world who will say this, but I can tolerate Dr. Gur more easily than L-V. That's not meant to be much of a compliment towards Gur, let me add. :(
