I do not think this dr can just answer a question. She talks in circles. MR. B is so patient I do not know how he can do this. The Judge is so patient too and very fair.

Yes, licensed SWs can provide therapy. In fact, I considered getting my master's in SW because there are more options (career wise) than if I were to get a master's in clinical psych. They can open their own counseling practice, work in hospitals, with social services, etc.

Hi Cujenn. Actually, a Licensed Masters in clinical psych allows one to open their own counseling practice in all states, as well as work in hospitals the difference is there has historically been a huge lobby for SW's in certain positions particularly in VA and Hospital settings. However, there has been a major shift over the last decade to utilize Clinical Psych practitioners due to their degree plan being tailored to diverse mental health treatment rather than social work, as well as the highly publicized failures of SW to protect children of abuse and murder cases. Also, it is important to note that a Bachelors level SW is also licensed but they are not licensed to practice therapy, they are only licensed to do social work activities (i.e., home visits, child advocacy, reunification activities/decisions, court appearances, custody plans, parenting plans, etc--it is the Masters level license that allows SW to be considered "clinical".

She's being totally exposed for her biases..Making excuses for her not including things in her reports..and excuses for JH's manipulative interviews!!

Her feigned outrage that it's been suggested SHE WAS MANIPULATED actually makes me laugh... She so reminds me of La Violette ! It actually "STRIKING"!!!
