There's the issue..her notes didn't record his actually quotes in her report nor what he said ( only her interpretations of what he said (IF HE SAID IT) but inserted her personal terms..and much of her report was more full of HER interjections/words and explained away that it was HER Expert opinion of HER understandings of what she heard himsay..

Only problem with that. is legally one cannot opine nor make up anything without linking to FACTUAL proof of what their assert.. Dr. G showed her true colours..She only used specific terms to prove a point..then MOST everything else she dismissed..as not relevant..SMH..IF anyone of this jury even bites a wedge of her fauz talk..I'm sure there will be other's who will set them straight..No juror has to leave their life experience and knowledge at the door!!

How long do you think the jury will take, if they are given the case on Tuesday? Son and family coming in for visit that week end. Is there anyway to get a jury alert on cell phone? Gosh I am hooked on these cases! The kids are going to laugh and laugh!

Mr. B caught her lying with her "yes yes yes" replies.

At one point he turned around and asked her if she even knew what "magnesium" was and she had no idea and he had to explain it to her that water makes it catch on fire.

She was caught in her lies of saying Yes to everything and she has no idea what he is talking about.

I wish Mr. B would have done that to her more. He had more opportunities like that.

In other cases, we have been able to sign up for an automatic Text Message or email when the verdict is reached. I am sure this trial will have a news site that will do that.

As we get closer to the jury getting the case we should be able to google to find a news website that will do that for us.

I'm reflecting on the exposure of young JH being diagnosed back when age 8..as Oppositional Defiant Disorder has really clarified JH's personality..This was NO Schizophrenic budding upon reaching that 18-21 age bracket at all..He's always been defiant..and really in his mind hated social involvements...and only tolerated some until HE felt it wasn't worth HIS time anymore...

What do you all think?

I agree wholeheartedly.

I can't believe I'm just now hearing this... I wish the prosecution would have emphasized he was diagnosed w/ ODD (or at least mentioned it) and hammered in the fact that it almost always evolves into Conduct Disorder... and 40% of children diagnosed w/ CD are subsequently diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder as an adult!

Today was also the first time I heard about JH being violent towards his sister... (even though it's been mentioned in court before today... I think?)

Do you think the defense instructed her not to answer GB's questions? All GB was doing was asking her if certain things were or were not on her report. Simple & clear. She would then go off & explain that she knew about it (whatever he asked) or say 'I do not understand' & take 5 min. to locate in her notes or reports.
I've never seen such a display!
I couldn't be a juror, can you imagine what they are thinking but can't talk about it!

I don't know how the jurors... the judge... the prosecution... OR the defense has the patience to listen to that alllllll day!

Just a thought on my part.

ETA~~ What I recall..his childhood exposure to counselling got painted due to issues with Aunt/Uncles or extended family...slowly came out due to his hitting his sister..then thru this witness due to his antisocial behaviours....This all goes to Defence hiding BALL..as I'm sure prosecution has known all about it but got constrained due to OLD possible Prejudicial evidence?...Who knows really?..BUT This Idiot (sorry) self described expert in her own mind witness opened so many doors!!

I was thinking about that earlier today... like how his visit to the therapist was due to him having trouble adjusting to the move and then how it became about him being violent towards his sister and nowwwww we learn about this ODD.

See you all tomorrow..This testimony ( Testiphoney) has not frustated me at all :laughing:..Because she has actually proven in spades what most of us here have believed by "Instinct" the truth of just what makes JH tick...

My frustration only comes to listen to Defence ( King) using his miley mouthing questions..leading BTW (IMO) and her going into pontifications of her opinions and applications that have NOT been accepted by the rest of HER world....

Anyway...I leave with belly full of popcorn and fluids to wash down feeling rather vindicated of my initial impressions and thoughts!! Kind of relaxes me personally:loveyou:

What's says it all for me is if JH thought he was doing his victims a big favor why didn't he kill Gardi, Hilary, Ben, sister, parents? Wouldn't they be the first he would kill if it was a good thing. Most true schizophrenics who kill go for Moms first. I think they blame moms for bringing them into the world with their illness. I really think JH was doing some malingering. Yes, mentally ill but knew what he was doing was wrong.

rbm -- I hadn't thought of that -- makes sense that he would do his buds a favor, doesn't it? Hmmmm.

bbm -- Agree 100% -- yes, he's ill, but IMO he was fully in control that night at the theater as well as the months & months & months before that.


It seems obvious to me that he thought he had some problems -- that's why, IMO, he wanted to study neuroscience... Had he read anything about neuro diseases or problems with human brain wiring? I'm betting absolutely yes -- JH was no dummy -- he read & researched and acted from that night on -- but as soon as he stopped eating & sleeping properly, he fell off the bus and thus began his problems in November. And he didn't do such a bad job of it. JMHO.

With ya on this, Loo -- He does have trouble being around people -- who doesn't every now & then? I have been with a crowd -- I don't drink alcohol (bad genes, can't) and sometimes people get a little too, too and I just tune out, so I can understand maybe a little bit what might make him so anti-people. And people can be ugly to those they deem weird, so JH may have taken some licks when he was growing up.

We don't know what his family dynamic was really like -- was his sister the favored one? Or was she jealous because he got all the attention because he was so smart & weird? Kids learn early how to get what they want if they are in a family who can give... And he also learned early what to do to get what he wanted. I think it just grew from there and along the line, he did have some true mental problems but not on a psychotic level. But he surely figured out in 2012 how to do what he wanted to get back at mom & dad & sis who were represented by this one & that one and the other one that night in the theater, plus all those nasty people he did not like, and damm the torpedoes.
