Yeah. I agree. They are another victim IMO.

I hope during impact statements someone hammers home to JH the damage he caused to his own parents.

I hope I'm wrong for their sakes, but I don't know if it would even bother him...jmho

James Holmes' sister is a singer/songwriter. A few years before the shooting she wrote a song called 'Walking down death row'.

Bit weird that.......

How long do you think this trail will last now? How much longer will this go on?

Mr B is doing the right thing but then King gets up and then Mr B again. I do not see closing for next Mon and Tues unless King is real short.

Mr B has shown that someone else probably wrote the report, even if someone did write the report, the doctor should have gone over and over it to make sure it was correct. This would have also given the doctor a good opportunity to refresh her self with all the info. Hence, we see she did not do any of this. Then the doctor rewriting, rewording, JH remarks....oh my gosh. This goes down with the other lady for FCA from Florida. Do not remember her name.

I cannot believe they want Mr B to give them every page number etc. If the doctor did her work, she should know where her statements are. This show she probably did not write the report. MR B is showing that the doctor is not who she saids and thinks she is and she is not ready. JMO....

I have learned one thing, do not knit a new pattern when listening to this doctor. Sorry son, your hat will not be ready when you visit, I will have to mail it, I need to frog it. Good thing it is still summer. Sigh.

Thank you to all who are writing the comments here. I do not know how you can do it. You are all angels. To everyone else giving explanations of medical issues, medications, personal issues that they can relate to, share with us and other comments. It all helps to try and understand this all.

JH was sane, he is guilty.

Break is needed. See you all back in a bit.

We've enjoyed your hangin' here with us, MsJosie! Don't go too far away!! It ain't over yet and your comments are always good ones. :)

There will be big time trial withdrawal when this is all over. I'm already fretting over it. See ya all tomorrow.

While Defence truly wants to rehabilitate their witness..But will have to consider by repeating her obvious personal interjections/ may just confirm SHE is the Stooge put up their to parrot their agenda...So it could go both ways..Maybe they just may fold up their tents and hope closing will persuade a juror???

Yep, LyndyLoo -- That very thought struck me yesterday -- I posted earlier that even if he did get a NGRI, he'd be "put away" for some time, and that gave me some peace of mind.

Then the Other Big One hit my mind -- the horror of a hung jury. Oh please not, can you imagine! That is when I think the "plea" word might be uttered again. Crime of the century.

Closing arguments, if we all don't fall dead from old age before then, are gonna be b-i-g.

We will have to search for a new trial!

Have to agree that if they diagnosed him way back at 8 with that.

He showed signs of that exact thing during the testimony of his graduate course lab work. Basically being defiant to the point of not participating with other classmates and doing the bare minimum. Until he was forced to give a presentation he would not have even done that.

I agree that his conditions go way back and I really dont think he had a major change before the theatre shooting.

I think he just got fed up with his life and decided it was time to do something dramatic. I bet he had planned something like this back as early as 12-14 and kept putting it in the closet until he got enough nerve to finally do it.

I totally agree!

Reminds me of the Karate Kid. "Wax on, wax off".

Listening to yesterday's Gur cross...impressions: Gur is probably the best they could get for the case...it is tough listening to her and the juror that came down with the migraine....probably not the only juror that has had it with her....clearly she is making things up and as usual GB is doing an excellent job of showing this to the jury. An "expert" cannot simply make an outline/notes and then fabricate things on the stand...the jury sees this. I think GB is one of the best attorneys I have seen in a very long time....he is so genuine and he takes you right with him in his thought process and disbelief at what she is saying. Frankly as much as I enjoyed JM...GB is more effective in a subtle way. He is so prepared and every fact is right there...he becomes an expert on each subject that he deals with. Can't really see his face but he so reminds me of Anderson Cooper and how AC would be if he were an attorney. Been following this case (not closely) until now and stunned at how pathetic the defense team is especially the female attorneys...could not listen to them. King is better but has nothing to work with. Judge is great...seems fair and rulings usually go for state because most objections from the defense have no basis. Such a long trial but I think the judge does an excellent job of keeping the jury with him and is so respectful of their time...bet they really like him.

Listening to Gur and trying to follow along reminded me of my Mom and when one of the first times we went to a doctor for her dementia---I called how she spoke "circlese" because she could go round and round and never end up anywhere. The doctor after experiencing "circleease" with her just rubbed his forehead (much the same way as GB did yesterday and the day before) and said I need and asprin .....

We will have to search for a new trial!

I understand the Jamie Hood trial is quite "something" if you can understand the gangster jargon. Archives are available.

Shame on your sister, I say.

See you all tomorrow..This testimony ( Testiphoney) has not frustated me at all ..Because she has actually proven in spades what most of us here have believed by "Instinct" the truth of just what makes JH tick...

My frustration only comes to listen to Defence ( King) using his miley mouthing questions..leading BTW (IMO) and her going into pontifications of her opinions and applications that have NOT been accepted by the rest of HER world....

Anyway...I leave with belly full of popcorn and fluids to wash down feeling rather vindicated of my initial impressions and thoughts!! Kind of relaxes me personally:loveyou:

Simply cannot fathom that the defense let her get up there and literally make stuff up as she went along without any documentation and asking the jury to go on her "recollection" DB is great in his line of questioning that he gets her to tell the jury just that....he is literally making a fool out of her...she is smart enough to know this and not much she can do.

Well at one point she did blame her accent ----
