MAYBE she will keep her answers short because of that..But doubt it..She's probably already bumped herself to later this evening..BUT she may miss the circumcision of her grand baby???

I'm assuming she is Jewish. I'm also assuming it's not going to be done tonight - I could be wrong. I just can't imagine it being an evening celebration. Babies need to be in bed! She may have to get a flight in the morning. She can't just leave - can she?

It is performed on the baby's 8th day of life even if that falls on Shabbat.

Thanks. Remember she also added she has a lot of relatives coming from Israel, like the court needed to know that. LOL

FROM what I read briefly..It's Saturday..but candle lighting starting Friday prior to Shabbat at sunset..So she really doesn't need to be there until tomorrow!! before Sunset IMO She just wanted a day to prepare to go.....It's pretty common to circumcise on a "Holy Day" as I recall from yikes!! over 35 years ago as we use to allow this where I worked back in the late '70's in conference rooms!!
