Hi!
Just wanted to say :tyou: for all the tweets and comments on what's going on in the trial!! :skip: I don't do videos, so not watching the trial, just following all you guys!

See you all Monday - or is it Tuesday? Someone above said Monday, but closing isn't until Tuesday. Right? :waitasec:

okay - back to :lurk: mode! (I'm here!) :D

So good to hear from you, Niner. :seeya: Glad you've been with us. Yep, just hop in and lurk all ya wanna.

IIRC, the judge is meeting with the defense & the prosecution (very likely not all of each team) at 9:00am MST to go over more stuff. His Honor gave the jury Monday off so they won't be there. But you never know what may happen on Monday -- the defense team's Mz.__?__?___ (sorry, CRS) bowed-up nicely a time or two about points of the law she knew all about.....well, apparently she didn't.... and all that. Tempest in a teapot. But she tried her best. I guess you caught some of that. It was a show of wits...

IIRC, when the judge asked them when on Monday, Ormond said 1:00; the def. atty preferred 9:00 - the judge and Ormond agreed to 9:00. I'm pretty sure that's the way it went. Monday's business does not include the jury and prolly not all principals. And it shouldn't last all day -- unless the defense atty gets carried away on fumes of future fame...

ETA: I do not recall what time on Tuesday for the trial to resume.

Will we have a verdict this week?

Jury instructions will take a while, then closings, 2 hr. each side. So that will take the full day Tuesday, I'm thinking.
If deliberations start Wed., I think it will go into next week. Judge stated that there are individual verdict forms for each count! It might take a day for them to fill out 165 verdict forms for each count!
A lot of us mentioned that Monday, July 20- would be a good day for the verdict! Would like him convicted on the anniversary of the mass murder!

I hope so---they don't need to sign off on each and every victim do they? I'm thinking one big huge--"we don't believe you" should be sufficient

BBM- LOL!

I believe they do, from what the Judge said. The Judge said, he's just going to read the 5 types of verdict forms they have to complete. He said he's not going to read all 165, just the 5 different verdict forms.

I posted what I thought was a text or email alert that Denver Channel 7 was promoting. I thought it was the 'verdict watch' texts that came out before previous trials. When looking, it is the App for their channel! :( I don't want that because that will be all news items. Sorry.
If anyone knows of a text alert for the trial, please post.
