What were the prosecution clarifying there? Was it to show that JH made sure anyone could easily access the apartment block? (Main door to block not locked)

I think it was because the Defense brought up that it was only able to be locked with a key.

Adding to our posts on insanity.
Not only, as a previous poster wrote, did he NOT say to the police something wacked, as the ex. Obama told me to kill people...

BUT, when explaining the booby trapped apt., he told them 'it was a diversion so police would be there at the fire & not at the theater!!!!!!!!

Again, he DIDN'T say, 'I wanted to set my apt. bldg. on fire because - whatever wacked answer like, I knew my apt. was bugged & cameras were recording me, or 'it was haunted'...[/QUOTE]

@joey: People still live in the building. Marshall says Unit 10 was available for rent about a year ago, but he's not sure whether anyone lives in it now.
