DAMN! James was really cocky with the FBI guy!!

At one point, he asked him if there was anything else in the apartment that could hurt people...

James said "Uh, well I am not there anymore so..."

I take that as if I were there, I could hurt people. But since I am not...!!! I mean, it could mean that he doesn't remember if there is anything else...but I didn't take it that way!!

And then when he was talking about the magnesium, and how it would react. FBI says "Well, I am not a bomb guy. I am not a fire guy. You really got me there"

James says "Well I am not a bomb guy. I am not a fire guy."

ok....this transcript of police interview is just incredible how nonchalant JH is about this. Like this below...."just gasoline". Like that is ok.

My goodness.

This guy was trying to kill and maim as many innocent people as he could. WOW


Example:
"there's nothing in my bedroom that's...or kitchen. Well, there's the remaining gasoline. In the gas tank there should be safe(inaudible)"

My impression from all of this Professor testimony - added to what we know about him applying but being denied to "half a dozen" other programs.

He just didn't want to be there. It's not because of mental illness. He just didn't care! CLEARLY, when he is interested, he can focus and get the job done. The massive planning and executing of the reason why we are here proves that.

At least to me. This lack of initiative, etc. isn't because he was experiencing a psychotic break. He just wasn't engaged!

He was fooling with magnesium. That stuff is incredibly flammable and when you put water on it, it actually catches fire by itself from the water. It is some scary stuff.

I fooled with a tiny bit of it in science class and remember it well. Very dangerous stuff. Dont ever let water get near it.

I bet he stole some of his materials like magnesium from his college campus. You cant buy stuff like that.

You can't? I have magnesium vitamins. That isn't the same thing? LOL!!


ETA - I clearly didn't think that through very well. Otherwise, when I put it in my mouth and drink to swallow, it's not igniting a fireball! LMAO!!

I totally agree he was being sarcastic at times.

Just like the professors were saying when he had humor that was not appropriate. I am convinced he knew he was smarter than most and he enjoyed playing head games with people by answering questions in weird ways that were over their heads.
