Juror 737 says that is not a problem.

IF he remains on jury judge will require him to have no contact with for duration of trial.

Juror 737 said Alex Espinosa one time he mentioned the theater shooting in passing, after he had already filled out his jury questionnaire.

We'll know momentarily if we have 24 or 23 jurors in #TheaterShooting case. Juror is friends with two survivors - 1 about to take stand.

Pros: Nothing further.

Defense: wants to ask if he feels he would have sympathy he may not have it didn’t know them

loyalty? no, new friends
concerns seeing them afterwards and explain or justify verdict? hadn't thought of that, don't honestly know.....want a little time to think of that......judge will give him a little break....judge wants him to make sure not influenced in any way having to justify or explain in any way.....needs to know about it if so....

5 or 10 minute break

tells him do not discuss any of this with anyone.......has his promise.......tells him to be on his own for private time.....

I agree.

I just dont see the point of keeping him. There are plenty of alternates and why even give the defense a future potential reason to have the case overturned for an impartial jury member.

It seems silly to keep him on the jury. I dont understand it at all.
