On July 20, Kaitlyn Fonzi told @Theresa7News & I, heard loud music in D's apt, knocked, door pushed open. Nearly went in. #TheaterShooting

Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi went to bed around 11 p.m. on July 19, 2012. She said she slept in the living room near the AC unit because it was so hot. "Around midnight we were awoken by very loud music, the apartment was shaking."

Went to sleep - woken up at midnight by techno music - loud, shook walls. Called police

Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said the music lasted about an hour before she left her apartment to see where the music was coming from - and realized it was apartment #10.

Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said she knocked on the door to apartment 10.
"I thought about opening the door, I had my hand on the knob, but it was unlocked... I had a bad gut feeling I didn't want to see what was behind the door."
