I've never read a link here from Newsweek. WTF did they do? Send a 19 year old journalism grad to cover that had no idea of what is BASIC journalism for following a trial.

SMH..... I REALLY REALLY want a follow up on this. Wonder if NEWSWEEK will report the *Paul Harvey*..... or another media outlet... or GAWD.. that nothing will ever be said.

You folks don't think the jury thinks they need to prove all the aggravators? I think they're a smart careful jury. It is they only have to agree on one aggravator & they don't have to agree on the same one!
So, just agree on one. The first one is proven. What would they be hung up on? anyone.

So what happens to the witnesses testifying for the defense. The defense said they are set up for today to testify....I think there were 3 witnesses.

Will or can the witnesses come back tomorrow. If not then what happens? The defense are the ones that caused such a delay. They could say the same things in a lot less words.

Yes, it was harmless. The mother is reportedly not aware her daughter is on this trial, and it was just a message saying that the sentencing was this week, and that's all.

USA Today, has an article written on July 22, 2015 at 4:54pm, stating Newsweek editor Grant Burningham was notified on Friday and "removed it early Friday morning''. That was part of a quote, but I do not know if it was the article or the name of the juror he was referring too.

Also in the article it stated that Newsweek 'forgot' to remove the tweets until Wednesday. That would be this Wednesday.

It appears Judge Samour was on top of the situation over the week end.

Still so glad the Foreman Juror was upfront and reported it.

Following the Savapoulos case... and in the search warrants it always refers to "IT" as a person so as not to identify gender or identity.. so when I saw following quote... I did a smh that the *person* who reported it was removed :giggle:

I agree. Even non-professional journalists know not to release juror's names until at least the end of the trial. If she was a green young new hire, she never should have been sent to cover such a high profile trial. Plus who was the editor reviewing this, that person should have caught and stopped it.

Several people's jobs are in danger tonight.

NOPE..They only have to prove! ONE (1) aggravator..It was repeated over and over again during all 17 directives from the Judge...

All they are actually doing is that mass murderer committed at least 1 of the five aggravators..No need to be for ALL of them....

Next phase will allow def. to try and mitigate~~ala create sympathy thru parents..and continually drive home he has MI ( even tho not insane) ..then use the 5th grade teacher as some sort of possibility that he had merit BACK IN THE DAY ( age 11-12)....

In short~~ humanize..seek sympathy etc..
