IMO what the shooter said 2 years after the fact isn't very trustworthy

I'll ask again....What is this video about that they are viewing? TIA

I think the video is if the shooter walking through the lobby of the theatre before the movie begins.

You're assuming he was rational and we know he wasn't. That's what really makes this tricky.

At the start of this trial I thought JH was not rational. After hearing the evidence I now believe he was rational, in control, and knew exactly what he was doing. JMO

Very true. I think the jury might recommend LWOP based on his mental illness.

If this is that video, the Jurors may be looking to see how many children, under the age of 12, that are in the theater.

Seeing more then 1 child, would show that he 'knew' he would be murdering a child.

Right down to falling/jumping off a bed to go to mental hospital--I still feel this was to close to actually meeting with Dr Gur and he needed more

Honestly I don't think a person that tries to kill a theater full of people is rational. Then again, maybe he was pure evil and we would logically expect some that is pure evil to desire to kill. Argh!!!! I feel like I am starting to talk in circles. Tough job for the jury here.

I see your point. However, he was rational enough to plan and carry it out. Just think how he booby trapped his apartment. Maybe it's semantics. Maybe I don't really know the meaning of "rational"

Speaking for myself, I'd like to see the jury reach a verdict before lunch so we can move on to Phase Two,

We don't believe they did but possibly the jurors do. That's why they can't get passed it. We should have already been on phase two by now. We are privy to more info questions and answers since we have been on this case since day one. They don't understand like we do.

I'm sorry but I still don't understand-what do they think (maybe) the defense lied about? About jh's statements he didn't want to kill children? The defense didn't give argument in this phase, so what might they think the defense lied about?
Sorry to be a pain, just am thickheaded today, maybe.

Can someone please let me know when it's live again? My little wiener dog Heidi is bugging me to throw her darn ball. Lol

Let you know...how?

That JH intended to kill children. We know he did. Jurors (holdouts) who don't want to give JH the DP will use every excuse as to not be unanimous.
