Per NAMUS:

James Hudgens boarded an Amtrak train in California on about 06/10/25 enroute to West Virginia where a family member lives.

He departed the train in Winter Park Colorado on 06/11/25.

On 06/12/25, Hudgens purchased a bus ticket to Denver. He never arrived in West Virginia per previous plans.

His phone was last used in Granby, CO on 06/12/25.

He was wearing blue jeans, maroon shirt, black jacket, white tennis shoes.

He has "Fox Racing" logo tattoo on the right side of his neck.

What caught my eye was he was released to a representative of the Jericho Project. If it is the center I'm thinking of it specializes in treating chemically dependent criminal offenders.

Who reported him missing? I would like to speak with them. This man is my brother and he's not missing anymore.

Fayth1988, I am so very sorry to hear the sad news about your brother.

As the NAMUS page is no longer available we can't even see the NAMUS file number and who the reporting agency was and which jurisdiction might have been. involved.

If you call NAMUS at 1-855-626-7600, I'm sure they will be able to tell you the contact name and number for whoever submitted the report to them.

Sincere condolences go out to you and those who loved your brother.

@Fayth1988 I am very sorry for your loss.

You can try contacting NamUs by filling in their contact form and I am certain they will get back to you and guide you further. Unfortunately I don’t have a copy of their former NamUs case file, but he was listed there as MP145929 so you should mention that when filling in the form. I don’t know what the investigating agency was, but, if I remember correctly, he was listed as missing from Granby, Grant County, Colorado, so perhaps Grant County Sheriff’s Office? Not sure though, sorry, but I think NamUs may be able to help with that information.

This is the link to the contact form: Contact Us
It’s easy to fill in, and you usually get an answer in about 24 hours. Under Nature of Assistance I would select Case Assistance, and for User Type - Family Member.
