Agree, Dre, with your comment above... Wonder why LE (assuming it was LE) went ahead and called this death "suspicious" -- and I wonder if by LE's using that word if LE has an idea about her death.
Kind thoughts for her mom and other family members who surely loved Jax.
She was One of a Kind, and a Good One.
One of Jax’s friends posted about Jax today on advice columnist Carolyn Hax’s chat in the Washington Post. She was asking advice on how to cope without being overwhelmed by questions. I found this WS thread by googling as I hadn’t heard of Jax. Carolyn gave her some good advice that the friend posted on the Find Jax Facebook page, which members appreciated. Carolyn gets nationwide coverage. Unfortunately, there’s a paywall on WaPo, but the Find Jax page shows it.
About 11 a.m. Friday May 16 by DZ. The post looks sort of spliced together.
Today the Jefferson County Coroner came forward with a report stating that there is no cause or manner of death for Jax.
I have read the report. It states that Jax had many conspicuous fractures including her hyoid bone, clavicle, and several ribs. They state they have no answer for these findings.
The coroner deadnamed Jax repeatedly in the report without cause or reason.
The coroner promised on June 18 they would review the findings with me. They did not.
The Coroner Report only demonstrates the reason why we have to fight for Jax. It explains that her death is so suspicious and her investigation was so poorly handled it needs oversight.
I love my daughter. She was beautiful. Exceptional. She was committed to justice.
And so am I. This is not just for Jax. It’s for every trans person.
Long live Jax, and our struggle for oversight goes on.
I wish I had the time to tell you each individually but time is of the essence because it is public record and others have requested the report. Hugs yourselves today, the Jax way.
I don't think they called it suspicious. They said they're investing it as a suspicious death. I've seen this before where the COD is unknown so they treat it under a worst possible circumstance to make sure they collect evidence and go through all the procedures. Or, maybe so that they can be seen to be going through the motions, depending on how you view LE. Anyway, being suspicious and being treated as suspicious are different. IMO
Not a ton of info but I see a sort of side yard next to that fine upstanding hotel establishment. If that's where the body was found it would be very similar to, and as equally odd as, Beau Mann. IMO

Such a powerful statement from her mom. Jax was so lucky to have such a loving supportive mom who is willing to fight for her.
That said, I assume and I hope this means the investigation is still ongoing because she didn’t break her own bones and then take herself to an alley to die. Someone knows something and I hope this doesn’t get swept under the rug. JMO
So the two "friends" decided after she started vomiting was the perfect time to conveniently leave? And didn't notice an open window when they returned? And no one noticed a decomp odor for weeks? Sure, Jan.

The broken hyoid bone can be induced by violent vomiting, but as well strangulation or neck trauma. So that is inconclusive. But the whole story sounds very fishy. Who are those “friends”?
Had this friend been in touch with police or searchers, before Jax's body was found, and volunteered the information that they had been together that evening?
I wonder if this person's phone showed them trying to call Jax after arriving back in the apartment and finding their vomiting friend had disappeared. And where were Jax's bag and phone, were they found?
Agreed. Assuming there was a post-mortem, even though it would be a tuff one due to the length of time for her sweet body to be found.
Prayers and strength for her mom and for those who loved her.
I can still see her smile from the pictures of her.
Fly high, Jax -- you are and were loved by many.
