“I am terrified for my daughter,” Cherilynne Gratton-Camis, 60, tells PEOPLE. “I just need to keep her face and her beautiful self out there until we find her.”

Gratton-Camis has been actively searching for Jax Gratton, 34, since she was last seen leaving her Denver apartment on Tuesday, April 15.
“My fear is that somebody killed her,” says Gratton-Camis, who alleges that her daughter had been in abusive relationships in the past. “That is my fear.”

''Authorities urge anyone with information about Jax to call 720-913-7867. Her mom says she is at least 5 feet, 11 inches tall and could have a range of hair colors because she often dyed it. Jax's community has also created a website to assist in the search.''

Oh, those two pics of Jax -- she looks happy, healthy, and fun-loving.
The pic of Jax with a client looks like she really enjoys what she was doing, and so does her client.
The pic of her alone is very fine.
All I can do is shake my head and say a prayer for her and for those who know and love her. <sigh>

“A family member of the missing 34-year-old confirmed to Denver7 that Gratton’s body was discovered in an alley in the 9600 block of W. Colfax Avenue on Friday.

Lakewood police said the body was in the advanced stages of decomposition when a bystander came upon the body.

While officials have not yet confirmed the identity, Gratton’s family stated it was her.”

Rest in peace, Jax.

Very sad outcome and also hard to explain. The part of Denver where her body was found is heavily traveled with many businesses nearby. I don't know how her body could have lain there for nearly two months without being noticed by someone. Perhaps the autopsy will uncover the mystery.

The FB group set up by family and friends has a recent update

I copy here from the above link, for those who do not have fb access

We’ve received a promising and detailed tip regarding Jax. The response from both authorities and the facility involved has been handled with care, and we’re incredibly grateful to those who brought this to light. Right now, we are waiting for official verification—and most importantly, we are hoping for confirmed proof of life.
Until we have that, we remain in a holding pattern. Please keep Jax’s DPD flier or case number saved on your phone. If you see her or receive any information, call the tip line, your local dispatch, and the dispatch office for the area where she was seen. Every detail matters and could help confirm her whereabouts.
Thank you all for your compassion, support, and continued vigilance. We’ll share updates the moment we have them. Stay strong, and keep looking—we’re not done.
Thank you, @truthfinder2019, for copying the link -- (I do not use FB) -- so your copy is much appreciated.
