Every time I think about what her mother must be going through right now, I get sick to my stomach. It's a situation I pray every day that I am never in. My children are everything to me. Helpless desperation doesn't even begin to cover what she is feeling right now.

Do we know if there is a boyfriend/stepdad or older siblings in the home?

Do we know if there is a boyfriend/stepdad or older siblings in the home?

Earlier media reports stated that she lived with her grandmother, aunt, and mother. No reports of anyone else living at the home. It appears she's an only child.

Anyone know the mother's name? I found a FB page of a relative (woman) and it also shows the person she is in a relationship with (he links to Jessica's missing person page on his page)...

Not really sure any of that info is relevant or not....at this point.

ETA...even after all this time here, im still not sure what I can share. so I wont link or name names....

Police say they have not found anything that has narrowed their search to a person or a specific area. #jessicaridgeway

http://www.9news.com/news/article/293151/339/Police-search-Ketner-Reservoir-for-missing-girl

On Saturday, a dive team went into Ketner Reservoir in order to rule the area out in the search.

Jessica usually walks three blocks from Morris Street to Chelsea Park where she would meet up with a large group of friends before walking 1.3 miles to school. In that three block radius, she disappeared.F

This is heartbreaking. It is freezing here, with light flurries. IMO someone in the family or close to the family is involved or someone close to the neighborhood is involved. In order for her to go missing within the 3 blocks from the house to the park it had to be someone close that knows her routine. With the FBI involved I'm sure they are checking all of Mom's, grandma's and Aunt's friends and aquaintances. Praying Jessica will be found safe and sound and soon!

I do not believe it has been printed in the main stream media. That being said, she is a victim and we don't sleuth family of a missing person unless they are named a POI or suspect by law enforcement.

The local searching feels so futile. With the headstart the perp got, she could be in a completely different state by now. :(

Poor Jessica. Please let her come home.

I get an eerie feeling as I look at all of those homes on Moore Street between her house and the park. I keep thinking about Breeann Rodriguez. She was killed by a next-door neighbor.

When I was a kid, we'd take shortcuts through some neighbors' yards to get to the next street. We had to. There was a 2/3 of a mile stretch of homes with no break. It was a pain to go all the way around. So we'd cut through the yards where there were no fences. Usually, we were able to cut through by using the yards of kids we knew. Occasionally, we would boldly walk through the yard of some random adult. I remember that my friend moved away, and his yard might as well have had a sidewalk. After he moved, new people moved in, and they didn't like that their yard was a popular cut-through.

I think there is a large sidewalk behind homes straight west of Jessica's home. I can't tell, but it appears that most have fences. I wonder if she would have gone that direction.

Remember that little girl in San Diego, Danielle Van Dam, that was kidnapped and murdered by her next door neighbor and taken away in his RV??? I hope they've taken a really close look at the activity of the neighbors.

Yeah. For some reason I don't think she ever left that three-block area.

I don't think the address: 10768 Moore St. Westminster, CO 80021 for Jessica's home is right. I went to the Jefferson County Tax Assessors website, and that street # doesn't exist in the property records....

I did find a woman with the last name "Ridgeway" who lives at 10786 Moore Street. (Is it okay for me to post that?)

Looks like it could have been a transposition of the 8 and the 6 in the reporting?

Yeah. For some reason I don't think she ever left that three-block area.

and you would think that someone would have seen her at that time of morning with everyone on their way to take kids to school
