- thanked community for thousands of tips, instrumental, helpful
- thankful for support of LE, working nonstop, around the clock
- given family strength to see outpouring of public support
- thanks other LE agencies, particularly CBI and FBI
- notified family this morning of arrest, hope/pray it gives them some measure of closure
- hopes that community can rest and feel safer
- Q: turned himself in?
- A: agency will give statement then we will fill in
- another person echoing what first person said, collaborative, nonstop effort, day/night
- but it's a process, only the beginning
- we can't give you alot of info right now, affidavits sealed under court order
- can't give much detail
- charges are forthcoming within next couple of days
- still focused on integrity of investigation, then prosecution
- Sigg has presumption of innocence that will be honored
- 1st court appearance: tomorrow, 10/25, 8:00am, Div 10, Jefferson County Court

New speaker - commends law enforcement. Great work. Collaborative (sp?) effort, day and night. Won't give a lot of info. Charges are forthcoming within next couple days, continuing investigation, presumption of innocence so will honor that to preserve integrity of investigation/prosecution.

I am just guessing that the pic with that leather or rope necklace has the actual cross at the bottom if it is an older photo. I think the cross broke off when he was dumping evidence or struggling with the jogger.

Im almost wondering if this cross is what Mom recognized and she started putting two and two together ..I can't even imagine, I am very very proud of her you know thats gotta hurt ............... Prayers
