Was there ever much info released in regards to the tracking dogs? Was her scent picked up and followed from her home to the park (or home to somewhere?)

Do tracking dogs need the scent to be fresh? What's the time limit on that kind of thing? If she walks the route daily would the dogs be able to distinguish older scent trails (like from the day, week, month before) from her most recent?

About Jessica's father, who lives in Kansas City, Matterasso said that there was a custody dispute but no members of the girl's family are suspected in the disappearance.

Matterasso said there was no indication that a random child abductor is on the loose

No family members are suspected. No random abductor of children thought to be on the loose.
That would lead me to believe a specific child abductor is suspected, yet there is no person of interest. What does that leave? I dont think she ran away.
