If serial killer-in-training Reed Siggs is only responsible for the 10/05/2012 abduction/murder of Jessica Ridgeway and the attempted abduction of the jogger in May 2012. Then the Denver, CO metro area must remain vigilant until all the other predators are identified and brought to Justice.
Imo, SKIT Reed Siggs, will be responsible for other abductions or attempts. This investigation is far from over; 'a marathon, not a sprint'..

Colorado Springs- Police said the child was walking in the parking lot of The Classical Academy school at 975 Stout Road when a man in a truck asked him to help find a lost puppy.

The boy said the middle-aged man was sitting in a brown, rusty, full-sized truck, possibly a Ford. The man never exited the truck or approached the child. The incident happened around 12:45 p.m.

Arvada- A woman is approached in a bar parking lot and a perp attempted to place a chemical soaked rag over her mouth.she was able to escape and full attempt caught on video.(2 perps)

Colorado Springs- The first happened in the 7700 block of Fountain Mesa Road when a child was walking home from school, according to police. The child told police a black man in a grey pick up truck stopped and told the child to get into the truck. The child ran away.

Arvada- An elementary school student reported someone attempting to entice him into a car with candy around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, in front of Fitzmorris Elementary School at 62nd Avenue and Independence Street.

September 10 2012-
El Paso county- A 12-year-old boy managed to escape a possible kidnapper early Monday morning.

According to Lt. Jeff Kramer with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, the boy was on Cabellero Avenue near Grand Peak in Security-Widefield around 6:40 a.m. when an man approached him and tried to make the boy get in his car.

The boy was able to get away, and was unharmed in the attempted abduction. Kramer says that the boy didn't see a gun, but that the suspect implied that he had one. The Sheriff's Office is treating the case as though the suspect did have a gun.

Arvada- According to Arvada police, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, a child was walking near Quaker Acres Park, near 74th Place and Terry Court, when someone tried to entice the child into a car with candy.

Pueblo- Police say the woman didn't notice the man in her mini-van when she pulled out of the parking lot. She heard a noise inside, turned around and saw the man climbing over the seats coming toward her. The 24 year old jumped out of the van while it was in gear. The van, with the man inside, crashed into a tree at 1st and Union.

Colorado Springs- It happened in the carmel middle school area, that's near Fountain Blvd. and Chelton Rd.

Police say he pulled up to the 9yo girl who was waiting for an ice cream truck and asked her if she wanted him to expose himself.

When the girl said no, the man offered her a dollar.

Wow alot to catch up on today. I worked all day yesterday so checked today and was happy they have an arrest. I think the boys father who was obviously very aware of court proceedings probably got a hold of an attorney for his son. I hope as another poster stated that he will not be able to wiggle his way out of this due to now having an attorney. He is one sick individual and his mother did the right thing by calling LE on him. JMO.

Maybe Austin was a battleground for his parents ... perhaps his father encouraged him in using and viewing women as sex objects, or perceiving the law as applicable to other people, while his mother was trying to do what she could to teach him good values.

I'm concerned about this as well. He was asking the judge questions about his legal rights. (The media has not yet reported what those questions were, specifically.)

I think he's going to be a PITA.

He thinks he's smarter than everyone. imo. his whole yr and a half pre csi training and all... You can tell how immature his brain is. Thinking get rid of body parts yet keep some. the backpack not even taken far far away, kept it all close so everyone knew he was local. the cross. Leaving dna on the backpack.. reported obsession w/ death, the mortician thing. All juveinile imo "look at me look at me!" imo

yea how did his addiction come about? You would'nt find your kid online and put him into counseling. imo it's have to be dramatic and serious to put my young teen boy through having to talk about his addicition.

When John Mark Karr was arrested for JBR's murder, 36 lawyers offered to represent him. Where are all those lawyers now? They are all licensed to practice law in Colorado.

I am sure he will have a private lawyer. I just don't think that private lawyers could be showing up at the Juvenile Detention center yesterday or knocking on the mom's door yesterday. This was a very minor hearing. But no doubt he will end up with high end criminal defense (I think).

The criminal family with several juveniles who moved into our neighborhood and committed numerous crimes, also killed animals with bb guns and had imprisoned cats in the garage. When they left, they had totally destroyed the entire house, and the cats who survived were released out into the neighborhood--many were hit by cars and killed.
