IMVU - (OFF TOPIC WARNING)
You weren't down in the basement with us Peeples? That was LITERALLY a roller-coaster ride! We all had avatar's with names different than our user names here... because we are websleuthers, and did not want any of the people we were looking for in IMVU that might have been associated with the Zahara Baker case to find us!! I remember riding roller coasters at the beach, riding on boats, etc. with my fellow Websleuthers, and honestly, it was one of the funniest things I have ever read in my life as we tried to figure out how to move around the room, change our clothes, and get the right size head for our bodies! I have NEVER laughed so hard. IMVU seemed to be like everything else on the internet, or in real life - you could do positive things, or you could do horrible things there. I tried to talk to a girl who was sitting on a bloody bed with dismembered parts all around us in one of the "gore" rooms. She and I were the only ones in there. She wouldn't talk to me, so I finally got up the nerve to go sit on the blood-soaked bed beside her, but I did something wrong, and laid down behind her instead of sitting beside her. She looked at me, and then went poof - she never said anything, but the way she went poof, it was obvious that she thought I was annoying and an idiot. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: I did it for about a month after we stopped, and then I got bored with it... it sucked up too much of my Websleuth time, and it just wasn't fun without other Websleuthers down there.

That sounds awesome! I miss all the fun stuff :(

but the truth is the FBI already monitors these sites, and there is very little they can do to stop it. These people hide behind the cover of anonymity, under the cloak of free speech. They are pathetic, sniveling cowards.

But the dark web means they no longer have to exist in isolation. They now have their own alternate universe where social norms are turned on their head- where evil is seen as a virtue, and there are hundreds of like-minded people feeding off of each other, normalizing and encouraging their darkest thoughts and impulses. It's a social hierarchy built on one-upsmanship, with each new shocking image or story leading to demands for more. It's like a heroin addict always chasing that first high-and it takes more and more depravity to satisfy their urges. It is a zero-sum game-and our children are the game pieces.

TCG -- In your research either primarily or after learning about the dark web, did you find much or anything at all about the FBI's monitoring of this "world"? Investigations? Stings? Arrests? Anything at all? I mean if they're posting pictures or stories and trying to prove to each other that they've legitimately done whatever the heck they've done .. other than just trading encouragement and stories... that crosses free speech. Some of what you described (which I snipped) sounds like obvious illegal activity. I can only imagine some of the more explicit stuff is CLEARLY illegal. You mentioned they move the sites around so it's hard to track but the FBI must have a beat on this... why are they not on this??? It seems like just from a research perspective you came across a landmine. And that's without giving us all of the details, thank heavens. I know when you cross a hacker with a derranged pedoperv it's a dangerous combonation, but the FBI has to have some ability to go after these creeps. Can you shed any light on this? Do you think they're doing alot more than we know and it's something they keep quiet in order to continue to apprehend? Now I want them to at least whisper to us "we're on it, don't tell the bad guys" so we can worry a little less... Because I'm FREAKING OUT!!

I remember that! It really *was* hilarious. I laughed so hard reading y'all's exploits in there. (Didn't have the nerve to go in, myself!)

About AS being on twitter. I found an account that was probably him the other day, it's there but when you try to click on it today, it gives you an error message. The last name though was changed to Siggs. No tweets, 1 follower & following 2.

My one teen gd also went to twitter and left fb. Grandma watches out for her too. lol

I have twitter and I follow certain news and people (no celebs)

But dang I wish I knew how to use it better. Wish there was a teen near me to teach me.

DaDessertLady use to be the funniest. Although haven't seen her lately on there.

Do they have any pictures of inside the courtroom today?

IS he on IMVU?

Sarx asked this yesterday, and I have not found a reference for it.

We need his screen names/usernames.

LE needs help with the online stuff on this guy, IMO.

Does anyone know his screen names?

One username is Dohastvath.

This took up many pages, and caused a lot of arguments. But if you look closely, at about 1:40, I believe Fox included the UNEDITED helicopter footage in this video. I think it shows that not all of us had lost our minds in what we were seeing at the time. That said, I have no faith in what this station reports-they are the World Weekly News of the media. They are going to be the ones that jeopardize this case and the jerks right to a fair trial. I noticed a lot of other stations are scrubbing their more sensational items, I'm sure at the request of LE.

I actually used to belong to a free online mom forum and there was a HUGE scandal shortly after I joined in another "birth month" thread separate from mine. A woman in Ireland posed as someone else. Stole her photos of the whole family from the woman's photobucket account and made forum signatures and avatars with them, etc. gave them all different names but posed as the mom herself. When this was exposed a bunch of us went so far as to post "proof pics" of us with our kids and our names and the date the photo was taken. Then we made our board invite-only. It was so scary.

This happened on a baby board I was on, too. The person had even been made a moderator of the forum before being exposed. She completely stole a person's life, photo of her kids, everything. Everyone was totally shocked. :(. Creepy.

  • Showing up in court with a hair style, interrupting the judge to ask questions, looking (eye contact) at the family members of his poor victim, etc. -- That's not a good sign IMO. Agree with posters who think he's relishing his role and the attention. Sick sick sick.

  • I too am having trouble with the confession as reported: Perp was in his car, saw Jessica, passed her, no mention of where exactly this happened, turned his vehicle around [note that the 'passed, then reversed direction back toward victim for the snatch' is the m.o. he allegedly used ON FOOT when pursuing the Ketner jogger], immediately got her into his vehicle, quickly strangled and hogtied her (which came first? Geez), then ... then what? No joy, so he "went further" or some such? No, not buying that sequence of events.

  • As to whether AS targeted Jessica or knew of her, I don't recall [and don't intend to sleuth!] the age of the older friend or cousin she was supposed to walk with that day. Thinking of AS's younger brother who is said to be 14, whom AS would reportedly take to school. Guess we are talking different age range and different schools, though. Just a thought.

  • People have mentioned the many cats in/around perp's home, and interactions he's had with at least one neighbor regarding the cats. I'm recalling several mentions early on when Jessica was first reported missing, that she loved cats very much, and would help to care for a neighbor's cats... something like that. Remember? We've heard of puppies, real or imaginary, being used to lure victims. It's a stretch, but what about a cat or kitten? You never know.

  • Re the dad's home in Parker: Well, have you seen images of it? Respectfully, it's more than just a nice home in a gated community. It's more like a windswept hilltop castle or a celebrity compound. Multiple out-buildings, about 15 vehicles on the property, etc. JMO I hope it is true that it's being searched, too.

  • Re Minecraft and IMVU being harmless games: Yes, definitely so, for most users. But just as the Internet has a shocking dark side, so do these online games. All it takes is a Google search, seriously. Blood and gore for one and all if you know where to look. Ugh.

Dr. Know, were there any indicators that the twitter account belongs to the suspect?

There is a minor named Austin S######## and he is a student in another state. TIA!

I never was able to tell what was there and still can't. So maybe no?

I looked at that video 100x I think on you tube. Could never make anything out. I even took my magnifying glass out to look. I thought what I was looking at was her stuffed animal she carried with her. Not saying she had it on that day. I could never make anything out.

OMG. That place was hysterical!!! I remember literally laughing so hard that I cried. I got stuck one time on a seemingly endless roller coaster, but the best was when I got trapped in some dungeon with a torture chamber that included this big table with chains and restraints. It even had a guillotine! There was apparently some sort of BDSM etiquette that I wasn't privy to and I got stuck on the torture table and couldn't get off...everyone left me there! Goodness. I'm laughing now just thinking about it!!

I have to keep reminding myself we are talking about an adorable little girl that this monster destroyed with his evil. I just went and looked at her picture for a long time....there is no way we will ever know why, there is no why, there is no explanation, I do not care what has happened to him in his life prior to this...there is no excuse he is a depraved, evil monster that should NEVER again see the light of day...but he will and that might be the most evil part of all. Oh sweet Jessica I cannot believe what he did to you. I am so sorry you had to ever meet with this much evil! Rest sweet girl...<3

Regarding a change of venue: First, it's not a requirement that you have to never have heard of a case to serve on a jury. Second, I think it might depend on whether James Holmes gets a venue change. I could see prosecution and defense comparing and contrasting the media coverage in both.

:rocker: Awesome post and sums up everything I was thinking! I too have a hard time believing his sequence of events and if he's a true sociopath, he wont' revel his MO. He needs to be the authority and exert control at all times. If this was his prized kill, he'll not talk about it fully.

I'm wondering honestly if he had partners in this. Be it online, or in person or both. If he really did hogtie her, he had to be really skilled because that's not exactly easy and more so in a vehicle, unless someone was in the backseat or driving, and they did the snatch and grab - hogtied her etc. Everything about how she "died" seems rather time consuming to be doing in broad daylight in his car, with a child that would scream and would kick. If Austin has no physical signs of being fought, then I just don't buy it. It doesn't make sense. Maybe he did do those things but not in the sequence of events he's stating.

Is it confirmed there are OTHER PEOPLE's body parts or is it just Jessica's? I keep seeing conflicting statements here.

'Sexual predators/Serial Killers do not have sex with their victims'.. Deja vu...

Edmund Kemper murdered his grandparents at the age 16 & served 5 years in a mental institution. He assisted the staff at the institution and had access to info that would later assist in a ruse that would convince them that he had been cured, insuring his early release. He proceeded to prey on other innocent victims soon after release..

Many of the original LE investigators that worked the Edmund Kemper's case were involved in his later investigations.

There were many excellent expert opinions, theories, etc., concerning Kemper's formative years and his escalation into necrophilia, etc. Edmund Kemper, participated and was very honest & forthcoming in his own opinions, theories, and revelations during prison interviews.

Guess, one of the most interesting revelations to me was that Kemper began fantasizing at a very early age & killing cats/felines(associated with women)
, burying them & later digging them up. When Kemper went through puberty his mind's fantasies changed from felines to females.

Since they were representative of his repressive & overbearing mother. Kemper did not want to have sex with his unsuspecting innocent victims, but to perform sadistic sexual acts on them/rituals...both pre and post mortem..extreme control.. sound familiar?

Kempur has an hour long interview on Youtube and it's very interesting. If I remember correctly he did it just to do it. He didn't have any anger or anything against the victims. It was just if there was an opportunity to do it he would. Eventually after he killed his mother and one person who knew he was at his mothers house he just stopped and turned himself in. No remorse for doing it, no joy in doing it it was just like breathing to him but you have to think that deep down it had to do with his mother as they had a horrible relationship and once he finally killed her he just didn't have the desire/need to do it anymore.

Though Sigg will be tried as an adult, if convicted, he is not eligible for the death penalty or for a mandatory life sentence without parole, under Colorado law.
I am quite certain its been mentioned numerous times as I am attempting to get caught up on todays posts..so forgive me for duplicating opinions likely already expressed..

Its quite clear imo that this was long in the making and premeditation far surpassing what I believe most are believing it to be at this point in time..

In what in my opinion is an extremely planned crime(s) I truly find it not only plausible but likely that his planning very much included his executing the heinous crime while still recognized as a minor by the courts therefor without a shadow of a doubt with his fascination with criminal forensics HE KNEW THAT WITH HIS FOLLOWING THROUGH IN THE EXECUTION OF THESE HEINOUS CRIMES THAT HE WOULD UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE BE ELIGIBLE FOR NOT ONLY THE DEATH PENALTY, BUT NOT EVEN LWOP...

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THIS FACTOR IS VERY MUCH THE REASON WHY, FOR HIM IT WAS NOT AN OPTION TO WAIT TO COMMIT THE CRIMES AFTER TURNING 18.. IT WAS A DELIBERATE, EXTREMELY THOUGHT OUT, PREMEDITATED DETAIL THAT THE CRIMES HAD TO BE COMMITTED PRIOR TO HIS TURNING 18..

I have compassion for the child who was bullied, mistreated, and grew up amongst the dysfunctions of his family life.. But I have less than zero compassion, sympathy, or empathy for the egotistical monster who imo premeditated these heinous crimes way beyond what most are willing to even think of, let alone believe.. He is a monster in a plethora of ways that sadly will come to light as the details of his crimes eventually become public knowledge..

I will not stoop to the lynch mob mentality in blasting via the www all of the pain that in my heart I truly wish for him.. My heart aches for Jessica and her loved ones left to try to understand the meaning of this raging, egotistical monster who violently snuffed out the bright light of Jessica's innocent life.. They will never be able to understand it because in order to truly understand it IMO that would very much involve pure evil and being able to understand pure evil.. Imo there is no rationally understanding pure evil past the simple point that pure evil seeks out and violently snuffs out the warmth of light..

Moo there is evil here in the heart of this conniving monster.. Imo evil that will very much still be alive and well in ASR when at/around the age of 47 he is very very likely to be back walking amongst us just as he was 48 hours ago..
