Which is about a 36 hour drive.

I don't know that it is good news. In fact, my initial reaction was "oh no!" I am just praying it is something is positive - please let this case break and let it be positive.

^^^ this concerns me, I ALWAYS have my cell phone with me, I usually have it under my pillow while I sleep or next to me charging...if you don't want to be disturbed while sleeping turn it off or on silent...not leaving it in another room...that to me is odd

I have alarms and appointments scheduled on my phone and I always leave it in another room when I am sleeping because I do not want to be woken up by every call or reminder - unless I am expecting an important call.

Was the bookbag "placed' on the sidewalk like all neatly like it was on display or was it just kind of tossed there? Did it look like someone actually walked up and put it there or did it look like it could have been thrown out of a car window?

Was the bookbag "placed' on the sidewalk like all neatly like it was on display or was it just kind of tossed there? Did it look like someone actually walked up and put it there or did it look like it could have been thrown out of a car window?

I believe it was standing on it's bottom, upright, like someone placed it there. Originally I was hoping Jessica threw it out of a car window to leave a clue, but it would be unlikely to land upright like that if she had. :notgood:

I suppose it could be done if the backpack was dropped on the way out of town, and by a person who was motivated enough to get out of town (and far away) quickly. It would be with very little sleep, but I think it could be done.

Especially with someone a bit younger. (I say that because I'm too old to do it - I need my beauty sleep!)

And - I really want it to be her in Maine so I'm being an optimist (instead of a realist).
