Why do I remember the first description of this car being dark/royal blue?

And my sister has an old blue Buick...I do think there are a lot out there

Yes there is and people from CO travel to Maine all the time just like they travel to other states. Also a lot of children can resemble another child and not be related. People travel all over nowadays no matter what state they are from.

I really dont think the sighting in Maine is going to pan out. If they find the people it will probably turnout to be someone traveling to Maine that lives in CO and has a child that favors Jessica. Or has just recently moved to Maine and hasnt changed the tag yet.

IMO

I thought the vehicle was supposedly a 90's model? Or was that the candy napper? Now I'm confused.

IIRC, the candy napper's car was a SEDAN, royal blue...same as Kentucky State's color. ****which reminds me....there is a royal blue big "K" leaning up or put up on the front of the Ridgeway home.

The sighting in ME was what I call a steel blue, mid 90's STATION WAGON.

Not yelling.....just a little frustrated with the reporters in ME who emphasize it's a "blue Buick" when the really specific feature is the fact it's an older wagon. There will be so many calls of blue Buick sedans now being called in..up there; tags can always be switched.

Church bells sounding during the presser...heartwarming.

After 3 days of investigation, we are confident parents are not involved. Focus shifts to unknown abductor. Per Materasso on 9News. What led you to clear parents? Won't be specific but could be LDT or talking to others about location of parents.

From presser:
"We do NOT believe the parents are involved"

  • #212
Did he just say that they feel now it is an abduction?

  • #213
live on HLN for those w/ out speakers!

Presser - they do not think parents are involved. Continue to work in area of disappearance, don't want to miss anything.

Trash being isolated but not looking to go through that. Just standard procedure.

In answer to question whether parents took polygraphs, not going to answer that question but "confident" parents are not involved.

Tips across country - Texas, Nevada, Maryland, Maine. Don't focus on particular story.

Eliminated parents, but unable to answer if other family members have been cleared.

Eluded to perhaps a LDT passed, but didn't confirm

Confident parents are NOT involved.

Im glad they are coming out quickly to say that. So often LE doesnt and keeps the parents twisting in the wind at the worst time of their lives.

imo

Lots of tips....

Did he just say that they feel now it is an abduction?

Confident that the parents are NOT involved. Not making a connection to Cody, WY at this time.

  • #219
I've never seen LE come right out and support family like this. Very good- perhaps focus of many who write it off as another parental abduction will be paying attention now.

  • #220
Not going to discuss specifics regarding family, but it's the parents they are confident are not involved.

Not verbatim
