But we often hear that the body is of an adult male or female, if it is known, at the time of the discovery.

And local news just reported counselors will be at school Thursday.
IMO there's no way that would be planned if LE wasn't fairly sure the
Body found is little Jessica's.

Not sure that the lockout at the elementary school would be related to a suspect. They would have to be old enough to drive.

Someone who works for the school but was absent last Friday and possibly today. Just a thought.

I posted the hog buying station pics on Elizabeth and Lyrics's thread, is that the one you're talking about?

Yes that was the pictures. You are the one posting the pictures I was talking about. No wonder I couldn't find it in a search of this thread. I tried everything - cattle pig hog shed building abandoned, each one in threads 1, 2, and 3. They kept timing me out.
It never crossed my mind that it was in Elizabeth and Lyric's thread. I can remember it now.

Too many cases in the missing forum running wide open right now, also the girl in the cody,wy thread in the located forum and of course Caylee's thread.

Thanks for reading all through my crazy winding post and answering the question that was dogging me. You did have a very good idea and I hope that they were all thoroughly checked. And we don't know if these two cases could be connected yet.

I have to step away, and regroup. Going to get some sleep and hope for whatever the best is. I don't even know what the best is, because no matter what, some family has lost a loved one. I am hoping so much that whoever this is, the person who did this will be found and justice will be served. My heart goes out to Jessica's family. The not knowing, and the knowing, must be shattering for them :(

Even Jesus cried. Bad, painful, almost unbearable things happen. Jessica was not only a vessel; she was a 10 year old, innocent child who by all our current accounts died a horrendous death, likely preceded by acts beyond our worst nightmares.

Seek&Find, you are so right that Jessica has not been destroyed because her sacrifice will still live on. The grace is that we can overcome these horrendous crimes by honoring the victims by trying help save others in the lessons we have learned. God willing, may the lesson of her sweet, innocent life not fall on deaf ears!

Because, even though God is omnipotent, society can still be a *****! Free will and all, you know.

Appreciate your sentiments. I didn't refer to Jessica as a vessel; if it's Jessica, her body was a vessel, for a sweet, bright soul that is the sum of Jessica. If it's her, her body may be here, but she's in heaven, IMO.

Can someone post the location (coords) of where the body was found? TIA. I'll go over and see about the GC aspect.

No, generally not taught in school. It is a hobby.

Again, I will say, that this is not the first body that has been near a cache, and to date, there has been no connection made. It's more that caches are placed in places that won't be found by the general person passing by (so they don't get stolen, vandalized, removed) but often close enough to a road or trail to be easily accessible, just like a perfect place to put a body.

Wasn't the lockdown around lunchtime?
I thought that the body was located several hours later.
I'm not sure there is a connection, unless they had an eye on a school employee, for instance.

Or unless a clue was left in the backpack that was finally deciphered, and it led LE to the school, which then led them to discover a clue about where the body was. Ughh!!! That disgusting scenario would have to be a pre-meditated, event. Disgusting.

This is never going to end! My poor granddaughter will never be able to go anywhere alone, not as long as I am alive!

Good god ! I left my house this morning very upset about all this today, check in a little later to see a possible sighting of her in Maine and now this, and unfortunatley I am still at work some 13 hours later.....

If it wasn't her they would have already announced it I'm almost certain.........

This is horrible, just horrible beyond words :(... I pray to god that LE has someone on their radar................

Im several pages "out" in catching up but have silently followed this case with a heavy heart, having 2 daughters 11 and 16....I constantly thought of my youngest and her friends and that phase of life at that age when reading about Jessica.I read about the body as my daughters were on the sofa beside me complaining of how I forgot to buy milk for their oreos.....I lost it in tears....(my youngest kept hugging me telling me she didnt even care about milk, not knowing why I was crying)...someone took this baby from her family and as skeptical as I was at certain times in this case( and many others)my heart literally hurts for her family.......

*caught up :Im so sorry for sweet Jessica and Im sure Im not alone in saying that what ever happened to her isnt in vain.: I totally plan to create a log with details and pictures for my daughter to read from her missing and leading up to this....so when from here on out Im more cautious and less likely to let her meet her friend at the end of #### street (since "its only a block away")or I want to hug her goodbye before her friends mom picks her up for school (and shes annoyed because "in a hurry"), or I tell her she has to wait inside of dance class when Im late picking her up after work..she will HOPEFULLY understand :(

How horrible would that be that someone would leave a bookbag with "geocaching" connections to a site at the school, (which someone in LE was smart enough to figure out), and then the "find" at the school geocaching site led to the location of the body? I honestly can't think of any other reason the school would have been on lockdown. In any case, I am just heart broken - but I want answers, and I want justice for this beautiful child. Oh so horrible!!!! Why???

I am catching up on this case. Can someone please explain why posters keep mentioning geocaching?

I opened up a candle room for Jessica and her family, should anyone wish to visit and light a candle.

I wanted to make the candle group just for Jessica rather than mix it with anyone else with the initials JR so I added CO for Colorado. The group is JR-CO. I think the link will take you right there.

FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt, when asked about location of Jessica Ridgeway's backpack, said perps plant evidence in opposite direction of crime scene, body, etc. Look on google map where the backpack was found in relation to the body found.
